TJ signed for what she thought was the hundredth time that afternoon as she looked up over the top of her medical files at the lone patient in her infirmary. Chloe Armstrong had brought herself in to the infirmary earlier that morning because she was having trouble breathing and was getting dizzy. However over the course of the afternoon dizziness had turned into a high fever and now the girl was sleeping restlessly on the bed in the corner of the room.

TJ had expected Scott to come and visit her, but he hadn't been in all day and so she supposed that he either didn't know that Chloe was there or that they were having a fight. It made more sense to her to believe the first option more than the second, though she didn't really know because with the finite number of people on Destiny someone was pretty simple to find.

The blonde signed again before shifting so that she was on her feet and moving towards the brunette's bed and sitting down beside Chloe's bed in the chair that she had placed there earlier that morning.

"You've got to get better," The blonde whispered softly, "There are people here that care about you."

The Lieutenant sighed as she stroked the brunette's hair feeling the heat of her forehead burning the palm of her hand as she did so, "Chloe, you listen to me now, this started as something so simple I will not allow you to give in to it. You hear me? You are not allowed to let this conquer you."

The girl whimpered under the blonde's touch, "I never got to tell you what I felt for you." She whispered softly taking the girl's hand within her own and stroking the girl's palm. "I never got to tell you that you excite me, and make me feel something that I've never felt before."

"I never told you just how much I loved spending time with you." TJ murmured continuing to stroke Chloe's palm with her hand, "I guess that I just didn't recognise the signs, I've never been good at that, but I should have. You were different."

"You," TJ paused and smiled down at the young girl's face, "You're so innocent, you've never killed, and frankly that is one of the things that attracts me to you; the fact that you are innocent."

The blonde stroked her hand over Chloe's forehead letting out a sigh of relief when she felt that the temperature that the girl had was at least a little lower than it had been before. "You are everything that I once told myself I couldn't have, but everything that I want."

"How do you know you can't have it," A weary voice replied softly, "You haven't told me about it so how would you know?"

"Chloe," TJ asked in surprise as she turned her gaze to the brunette's face again, "You're awake?"

"Yes, and I have been for the past five minutes," The girl replied weakly as she took TJ's hand within her own and she smiled happily.

"I... sorry," TJ murmured softly as she looked down at Chloe's face, tracing the lines on it and the weary grimace on her lips. "I didn't really mean for you to hear all that, at least not yet."

"I know you didn't, but I have to say that I don't mind." Chloe answered back smiling a little as she raised her hand up to the back of TJ's neck.

"You seem to be feeling better," The blonde smiled gently as she was forced to lean down into Chloe as the brunette tighten her grip on neck.

"And I would feel even better if I had my doctor give me a kiss." The brunette replied softly smirking at the medic.

"Mhm, I think I can accommodate that as long as my patient gets some rest afterwards." TJ replied softly leaning down and placing a loving kiss on Chloe's waiting lips, moaning a little when she tasted the girl on her tongue.

"I can do that." Chloe replied tugging TJ onto the bed with her, "Hold me?"

"As you wish," TJ replied softly moving behind the girl and embracing the girl from behind.
