Haruhi ran through the empty hall ways. She was late for hosting. She had been kept after class to finish her test. She wanted to go over her answers, to make sure she got a one hundred. She knew Kyoya would be mad. She dreaded the moment he would say, You must stay after and clean up.
Haruhi ran towards the corner, knowing the host club was beyond it. As she rounded it, she slammed into something soft. As she landed on the floor. She felt warm breath hit her face.
"Are you okay?" Tamaki said, holding himself on his hands above her so he wouldn't squish her.
"Y-yeah I'm fine." Haruhi said blushing as she realized their lips were extremely close to touching.
Tamaki stood up, and extended a hand for Haruhi to grab. She grasped it and he pulled her up gently. Then he leaned down and began to pick up Haruhi's books. Including about 13 papers that were scattered all over the floor.
Haruhi leaned down to help, but Tamaki said, "I'll get them!" He smiled at her.
"Thanks, Senpai." She smiled.
After about 30 more seconds of Haruhi feeling guilty, he finished and held her books in his hands.
She began to take them from him, but he winked at her and said, "I'll take them for you!"
"Wow. Thanks, again. You're making me feel really guilty." She said playfully as they walked into the 3rd music room together.
"Oh, it's no problem. I want to carry them for you!"
When they entered Kyoya walked up to them.
Haruhi sighed, for she predicted what he was going to say.
"Oh, hello! I never expected you two to show up!"
"You know what you have to do." Kyoya said with an evil smirk.
Tamak and Haruhi apologized to the girls as they left, and 10 minutes later they were alone in the room together cleaning up.
"Damn," Haruhi said, "this is so boring."
Tamaki looked at her with a light bulb over his head. He'd got an idea and Haruhi wasn't sure she wanted to know what it was.
"Let's play the, 'what if' game!" He said with a huge grin on his face.
"What's that?" Haruhi questioned.
"Here, come over here." Tamaki said. Haruhi walked over to Tamaki.
He took her hand and gently pulled her to the ground in front of him.
"It's where we take turns saying something like, "What if I ate food off of the floor?". You'd tell me what you'd say!"
"Oh. Wow. Strange game. I guess I'll play though."
Tamaki smiled widely.
"Okay," Tamaki began, "What if I went to France and never came back?"
"Hmm…" Haruhi put a finger on her chin, "We'd throw a party."
Tamaki gasped and tears streamed out of his eyes.
"I was joking!" She said playfully.
"Oh! I knew that!" Tamaki said.
"My turn." Haruhi said, "Okay. What if I died?"
Tamaki didn't take time to think about this. It just came out of his mouth.
"I'd be the saddest person on Earth! My life would not be complete without you! I'd die for you!" His hand cupped his mouth in surprise.
"Uh… Senpai… It's only a game."
"I'm sorry!!!! It just came out!!!!" Tamaki said flailing his arms.
"Ha-ha. It's okay. Let's try that again. What if I was rich?"
Tamaki smiled and said, "Then I wouldn't feel any different than I do now."
Haruhi tilted her head to the side.
Tamaki scooted closer to her so their faces were hardly an inch away from each other.
Tamaki smiled and said, "What if I told you I love you?"
"Then I'd do this…" Haruhi pulled Tamaki closer and connected her lips with his.
It took Tamaki a while to get over the shock, but finally he closed his eyes.
As they drew away, Haruhi giggled.
Tamaki dove back in for another kiss.
