There will be a lengthy AN at the end of this chapter that, if you don't normally read them, I ask that you do. Thanks
The doctor had said that he probably wouldn't need the crutches for much longer, as long as he didn't try sprinting or anything crazy. He wasn't allowed to drive either, which drove Naruto nuts since he couldn't ride his motorcycle. He could walk though, and it had only taken him two weeks to get the majority of his speech back. Overall, he was very lucky he got off as light as he did.
Kyuubi skipped after him. Sasuke was most likely going to get put in a mental institution, her mother had pretty much accepted Naruto as another one in the family, and there was no one trying to come between her and her Naruto. Everything was finally settling down and looking up.
*SEVERAL MONTHS LATER*
Kyuubi clutched Naruto as they both panted, a sheen of sweat covering their nude forms.
"That...was...a-amazing..." she got out, resting her head on the man's chest.
Naruto nodded his head rapidly, chuckling a bit.
"It's been awhile since we've done it like THAT." he said, snorting when he felt Kyuubi shiver.
She glanced up into his eyes and gave him a small smile, kissing him gently. "I'm glad we finally could...does this mean you're fully recovered?" she asked, a ghost of pain in her voice.
Naruto offered her a foxy grin. "Hey, I think if I can manage to keep you off the ground for that lon-"
"Ok ok ok!" she said hurriedly, slapping his chest playfully. "If I wanted a record I'd film us, so you don't need to recap!"
Naruto's eyes glinted mischievously. "I've never been allowed to record before...do you think we-"
"NOO!" she screamed, laughing. He laughed with her as they twined their bodies together, reveling in each other's warmth.
They laid like that for a good while before Kyuubi glanced up at him.
"We'll be graduating soon..." she said, a hint of sadness in her voice.
Naruto nodded, his smile not phased in the slightest. "We sure will be!"
She puffed her cheeks at him. "You could at least ACT sad that we'll be separated..."
Naruto's smile widened. "Whoever said we'll get separated?"
Kyuubi's eyebrows furrowed. "But I'm going to America to study..."
Naruto nodded, winking. "And so am I."
Kyuubi gasped, looking at him astonished, but with a twinkle of hope in her eyes. "But...but I thought you were going to study engineering and mechanics here...you already had a school you really wanted to go to..."
Naruto shrugged. "They're pretty passionate in America about cars too, I hear. And trading out a school for you?" he chuckled, kissing her forehead. "Totally worth it, I think."
Kyuubi blushed, digging her face into his chest. "A-and what about Oji-san?"
Naruto's smile faltered a bit there, as he half-shrugged. "I told him what I wanted to do, and he said that he'd support me. He's a strong old codger, that's for sure. He'll be fine..." he said, a worried smile on his face.
Kyuubi smiled lightly, planting a kiss in the center of his chest. "...you would do this for me?"
Naruto's foxy smile returned, as he nodded brightly. "Of course I would. I love you."
Kyuubi's blush came back full force as she pressed her body into his, shuddering as she felt a certain appendage of his start to grow again. "I love you too..." she whispered, kissing a trail down his chest as she started to disappear under the sheets. "Now let me show you that love..."
Naruto gulped, his eyes almost rolling into the back of his head as her 'love' manifested itself in several, very unique ways.
Itachi sighed, relaxing in his chair. It was large, giving him some room to move in, and very, very comfortable. If he could look, and feel relaxed, than his patient could feel it as well. This was one of his main thoughts when it came to counseling. By keeping a level head, and a calm body, the patient could take from that, and learn to also be ok.
Sasuke wasn't ok.
"I don't know why you keep insisting oh having these things Nii-sa-"
"I told you to not call me that." Itachi said calmly. "I am Itachi-san to you until you admit your faults and repent."
Sasuke snorted and a slight sneer came to his face. "I haven't committed any faults, Itachi-san. The one thing an Uchiha holds close is his pride, and by claiming what was mine-"
"Nothing was yours, Sasuke." Itachi said, looking at him sternly. "You merely claimed that it was, but besides that, people are not objects to be owned. They all have personalities, and lives, and things they want to be. They are not objects to be labeled."
"An Uchiha has a claim to anything, even if they are people." Sasuke scoffed, looking his brother dead in the eyes.
Itachi showed no emotion, though inside he was seething. "Why do you say that? You claim it a lot, yet you still have not told me the reason why you think it." he said evenly.
Sasuke kept his same expression, staring his brother hard in the face. "Did father not raise you the same way he did me?"
Itachi's eyes hardened. "I told you to not call me-"
"I'm not calling you Nii-san!" Sasuke said impatiently, "We have the same father, you cannot deny that! Now answer my question!"
Itachi thought for a second, before deciding that this could be more beneficial to him than harmful.
"What do you mean by the same way." Itachi asked calmly.
Sasuke leaned forward a bit, his eyes sparkling with self-pride. "You know, the lessons on what it means to be an Uchiha, to be an elite. How in the olden days our ancestors were the hierarchy, ruling over everyone with our power, and how we still belong on top. How anything within our grasp should be ours for the taking. All the meeting with our uncles and aunts and grandpa, talking about which place we take over next, restoring the Uchiha's to their rightful place at the top of the food chain!"
Itachi watched as his brother's face grew more and more manic with each event that poisoned his mind, until his eyes were wide, a giant, insane smile upon his face. Itachi grew pale, but maintained his composure.
"When...when did these meetings take place? And where?" Itachi asked evenly.
Sasuke's face grew a little more calm as he analyzed the older man. "Every Sunday after lunch...when did yours take place?" Sasuke asked.
Itachi looked down his brother, feeling pity for his destroyed mind. "I never partook in any of these so called 'meetings'. As far as Mother and I knew, father was taking you out to eat each Sunday. Neither of us had any knowledge of what poison and lies father was feeding you."
Sasuke looked at him blankly, not fully registering what Itachi had just told him. Itachi continued with his verbal assault.
"Everything father told you is elitist garbage that hasn't been in the Uchiha family for many, many years. I'm aware of our history, and how we were a powerful clan, but those times are over, and have been for hundreds of years. No one is better than another because of their heritage; many of the wealthy have come from 'lesser' families who didn't have much to begin with. The fact that we maintain wealth is due to our father and his father having well paying jobs, not because of the clan we once were. You must realize this Sasuke, that attitude has no place in this time that we live in."
Sasuke stared blankly at Itachi, still seeming unresponsive. Itachi waited patiently, knowing that this wasn't a healthy spot for his younger brother to be in. Despite hating the choices that he was making, and wanting him to come to his senses, he still loved Sasuke dearly.
Sasuke's face slowly grew angry, much to Itachi's dismay.
"You...you just...don't understand..." he said slowly, looking down at the table.
"I understand much better than you, foolish little brother." Itachi stated with conviction. Sasuke visibly flinched, before his head turned up to glare at his brother.
"YOU DON'T!" he shouted, reaching for the table. Itachi sighed, before moving swiftly. Before Sasuke even knew what happened, his brothers fist was planted in his gut, his breath lost immediately.
"...foolish..." Itachi sighed again, before hitting a button on the wall.
Two prison guards came in, looking curiously to the gasping Sasuke on the floor.
"Why's he..." one of them began, looking towards the stoic Uchiha.
"He was about to attack me, so I stopped him. No, he didn't make any action besides his initial one, and no, I do not wish to press charges, as I merely speculated what he was about to do." he said evenly, watching the guard start grow angry, and then grow calm again. He shrugged.
"I don't know why you're putting so much effort into this kid, he hasn't changed at all since he arrived." he said, looking with disgust at the boy on the floor.
Itachi blinked. "Because he is my brother. And seeing as how he has several years in here, I can be patient. He will come through eventually, now that I see exactly what has infected his thoughts."
The guard shrugged, before putting handcuffs on Sasuke and lifting him up. "Come on kid, you should be good to walk now."
Sasuke said nothing and kept his head low, walking with the guards back to his cell. Itachi watched them off with a sad expression on his face.
'How could you have fallen so deep into that fantasy world of power, Sasuke...'
Sakura looked up at the door she had memorized as a kid, seeing as how she was at this house nearly every day when she was younger.
She shuddered, wiping away the stray tears from her eyes. She had to try to regain at least one friend. She realized how... unfriendly she was being, to put it mildly. She took a deep breath, steeling her nerves, and knocked.
Footsteps approached the door, and Sakura froze. Would she even want to see her? What would she do? Would she attack her? Her feet began to back pedal as the door opened. She turned around to run when a voice reached her, halting her footsteps.
"Sakura-chan? What a surprise! It's been a long time since you've come over, come in! You must have thought no one was home!"
A tall, blonde man with a ponytail stood at the door, scratching his head and laughing apologetically. Sakura relaxed a little bit, nostalgia settling in. Inoichi...a kind and gentle man. A great cook as well, she remembered, giggling a bit.
She nodded and walked in, Inoichi closing the door behind her and making his way back to the couch where he had a laptop open.
"I'm just managing some expenses for the store, so if you just want to go up to see Ino she's in her room." he said, offering her another smile. Sakura nodded, her slight good mood immediately disappearing. This was what she had planned, but it was what she dreaded as well. She slowly trudged up the stairs after muttering a 'thank you', each step seeming to take longer than the last. She finally got up to the door, before taking another deep breath. She felt the sweat bead on her forehead as she raised her shaking hand to knock twice on the door.
"One secoooond!" she heard a voice call, and her flight instinct just about kicked in again. She repressed it however, and tried to hold herself tall, but as soon as soon as the door opened she shrank down again.
Ino had opened the door with a happy expression, but as soon as her eyes landed on Sakura, it quickly soured.
"What do you want." she said, disdain in her voice.
Sakura flinched, and lowered her head a little. "H-hi...uh...u-uhm..."
"Spit it out." Ino said, practically spitting the words at her. "Do you have another brilliant plan to whore yourself out to a new boy you want? Or perhaps you want to try and MURDER ANOTHER one of my friends, hm? What the fuck do you want?!" she said, raising her voice at the end.
Sakura stood there, paralyzed, as Ino's words sunk in. Tears started rolling down her cheeks as her body shook slightly. She should've known. The damage she did was too much. She had started to get counseling after the court that tried to rule her as an accomplice in attempted murder, ruled it temporary insanity and assigned her to a mental hospital to help heal her. She had made great progress, and had mellowed out tremendously. She thought she could at least talk things over, but this response...
She sobbed sharply, before covering her mouth with her hand as tears continued to spill. She shook her head and turned around, walking quickly to the stairs and making her way out of the front door. She didn't look to see where she was going, she just needed to get away. She walked for a good 15 minutes before she spotted grass to her right, which turned out to be a park. She wiped her eyes and made her way into it, settling down underneath a tree to finish letting her sadness out. No one would want her anymore. She might even have to move away from what she'd ever known if she wanted to find happiness. Too much had happened here. There was no way to get away from it. Her life was practically over if she remained around...
"Hey.." a voice called out, and Sakura's head whipped around to see Ino looking at her with confused eyes. Sakura recoiled, fear etched into her face.
"I won't b-bother you again...please don't hurt me..." she said, curling in on herself. Ino had to have come to get her revenge, since Sasuke was in prison. She was a good substitute; after all, she did nothing to stop Sasuke when he pulled the gun. She shrunk into the tree trunk, covering her head with her arms and waited for the barrage of kicks she was sure would connect with her soon. After a minute of tensed muscles, she glanced out of her shell to see Ino staring at her with pity in her eyes.
"Sakura..." she said, her eyes narrowing slightly. Sakura cringed, waiting for whatever fate Ino was bestowing upon her. "What you did was unforgivable. You broke Naruto's trust, and attacked our friend. Then you teamed up with the guy who ALMOST COMMITTED RAPE. RAPE, SAKURA. I know that you didn't know what he was doing, and that you weren't in a right state of mind, but it's still unforgivable."
Sakura nodded, tears running freely down her face again. "I kn-know...I j-j-just w-want s-someone to t-talk to...I've j-just b-b-been talking t-to doctors f-for months...I w-want to feel n-n-normal again..." she whispered the last part, drawing her legs up to her chest. She hated feeling different. All she ever wanted was to be accepted and loved, but somewhere along the line that had turned into a lust for attention from everyone, and she had thought she was entitled to it. She had never been so wrong, and she paid for it dearly.
Ino looked down at the crying girl with pity, as she contemplated everything Sakura said versus everything that had happened.
Sakura watched Ino begin to walk up to her, and she cringed further into the tree, awaiting the pain that was to come. She stiffened as she felt a hand grip her shoulder, and yelped as she was pulled into Ino's warm embrace. She kept her muscles clenched as she waited for the punches to start, but they never came, just the gentle hug that was enveloping her.
"I'm mad at you...I may even hate you..." Ino started, rubbing her back. "But you need help...and you were good once..."
Sakura clutched Ino tightly, crying into her shoulder. "Thank you...thank you, Ino-chan..." she whispered.
Ino smiled slightly, and patted her back.
"Yeah...but just know that you will only be talking to me until I deem you safe to talk to the others, and even then it's up to them whether or not to accept you back." she said sternly. Sakura nodded sadly, snuggling deeper into Ino's embrace.
"Even a chance is more than I deserve..." she said softly, sniffling.
Ino sighed, continuing to sooth the girl in her arms. 'With enough time, I believe she can regain her old self...she has to...I have confidence.'
Naruto stood next to Kyuubi, the both of them facing their greatest challenge in months. Naruto licked his lips, glancing over at the red-haired beauty at his side. She glanced over as well, gripping his hand tightly. He nodded, before facing their foe.
"I won't agree to a threesome, Yumi-san." he said, bowing respectfully.
Yumi pouted, before striding forward and shoving the blondes face into her cleavage, to which he started flailing his arms about.
"But Naru-kun~ I want to feel a man's embrace too!" she coo'd, grabbing one of his hands and placing it on her breast. Kyuubi's nostrils flared as she could practically feel the heat coming off of her beloved's face.
"Kaa-san, you said you wouldn't molest him anymore!" she said, glaring at the older woman. Yumi sent a sharp look over, making the younger girl cringe back.
"You wish to move to America and get an apartment with this boy you've known for merely a year, and you're going to deny me my teasing? I must have failed in raising you if you're this selfish, girl." she said, authority in her voice. Kyuubi lowered her head, wincing slightly. Although what her mom was doing was, well, wrong in her eyes (since that was her man), her words still affected her to a great extent.
Naruto steeled his heart and did, in his eyes, what needed to be done. He ripped Yumi's shirt and bra below her breasts, revealing them, causing her to gasp loudly at his actions.
"Huh?! What are you- Uhhn~" she moaned out as Naruto latched himself onto a nipple, running his tongue up and down the small nub. Kyuubi's mouth dropped as she watched Naruto work his magic on her mother's chest, making the older woman stick a finger in her mouth and lick it sensually as she mewled in pleasure. He glanced back and threw a wink at her, raising his hand to twist at her other nub and he nipped the one in his mouth, causing Yumi to grasp the counter to support herself as her legs weakened.
Naruto quickly jumped back to stand by Kyuubi, grinning in triumph, which quickly turned into an embarrassed blush as he took notice of Yumi's exposed breasts once again. Kyuubi bopped his head, kissing the underside of his jaw.
"Normally I'd kill you for something like that." she said, glaring at him, to which his expression saddened. "...but I can let it go this time." she said, leaning closer and whispering, "as long as you can repeat the performance later tonight, plus several encores~"
Naruto shivered, smiling widely as he held Kyuubi close. "Of course, I'll be ready anytime you want Kyuu-chan!"
They both looked up upon hearing Yumi clear her throat, and looked up to see her fitting her breasts back into her shirt. After finishing her task, she glanced up at Naruto, smiling lustfully.
"Mmmm...we'll have to continue that sometime Naru-kun~ But I suppose that's fine for now. Do you two need any money to help you get a place when you're over there?"
Kyuubi smiled brightly, nodding slightly. "We think we have enough for a place, but we're not sure. Any money you give us will go towards that plus food and other things."
Yumi nodded, smiling sadly. "Then I guess my little girl is moving out..." she trailed off, looking at Kyuubi with misty eyes. Kyuubi sniffed, moving towards her mom and hugging her tightly.
"I'm gonna miss you mom..." she said, a few tears leaking from her eyes. Naruto watched the heartfelt moment that he had repeated a day or two prior with his grandfather, and smiled. He almost wanted to take a picture-
"HA, TOO BAD I'LL BE THERE WITHIN A FEW MONTHS!" Yumi shouted, laughing loudly as she slapped Kyuubi's ass, making her yelp. She jumped back, looking at her mother in disbelief.
"Wha...wh...WHY?! HOW?!" she shouted, pointing a finger at her.
Yumi laughed, pushing her chest out and smirking. "As soon as I learned what school you both were going to I asked for a transfer to the area, where there was conveniently an office not a mile from Naru-kun's school, two from yours. It's nestled in between them, so in a few months I'll be moving and setting up there."
Kyuubi looked at her in disbelief, before a smile started spreading across her face.
"Mama..." she said, before hugging her again. Yumi smiled as she embraced her daughter.
"I wouldn't let you go that easily, Kyuu-chan." she said, a sly smile sliding onto her face as she looked over at Naruto. "You either, Naru-chan~"
Naruto paled as he imagined Yumi catching him alone in a small apartment, with no escape. The scenario didn't end with him escaping, no matter what.
Kyuubi smiled over at Naruto, and ran up to him, driving her lips into his intensely. He kissed her back passionately, separating to gaze into her eyes lovingly.
"Ready for the next chapter of your life?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.
"Our life." he said, smiling widely. Kyuubi blushed as she rested her head against his chest.
"I love you, Naruto." she said, letting her eyes close.
"I love you too Kyuubi." he said, resting his cheek against her head.
And finally, after a few years of on and off writing, I've finally finished this. I feel proud, and at the same time kind of sad. But then I remember that I'm probably going to write a sequel, and I don't feel as sad ;D I'm going away for a few months (as in not have my laptop) so after that, I'll get right back on this and my other stories! I'd like to thank anyone that has stuck by me since beginning this little adventure I've taken into writing, and I sincerely thank you for supporting me. After I get back I'm going to edit my previous chapters as well, and get rid of some of the spelling/grammatical errors that I noticed when verifying some of my story (since I take month long breaks, I forget where I was in the story sometimes, haha). Anywho, I WILL be continuing this, eventually. Those who have stuck with me since the beginning know that my breaks are random and can be...extensive. I ask that everyone be patient with me when it comes to this, and I'll explain why. I only write when I feel passionate about this, as that is when I write at my best. If I'm not feeling it, I don't write, because I feel that it won't come out the same quality. I don't want to force anything when I write, I want it to flow from my mind, instead of forcing it out in stutters. That being said, I don't know when I'll start the sequel, but I'm going to try and have a few chapters written up so I can post somewhat frequently. ANYWAY, wish me luck guys :D I'll be back in a bit, better than ever! Thanks again for all your support, and I'll do my best to keep my passion for writing going!
Hope you enjoyed the story. Ja ne~
