A/N: Hiya! I have severe Writer's Block on Sonny Under the Weather, so this little one-shot is just to get back in the groove. Hope you like it!
Disclaimer: When I conquer the world I will own SWAC, but for now I don't.
I'm in my dressing room going over the lines for this week's sketch.
Grady thought of this one, and it's hilarious!
How am I going to get through this without laughing?!
I heard someone knock on the door, so I got up from where I was lounging on the couch and opened the door.
"Chad?" I asked in surprise when I saw the three-named jerk-throb standing in my doorway. He was holding something behind his back and I couldn't imagine what it was.
"Hey, Sonny. Can I come in?" He asked somewhat nervously.
Chad Dylan Cooper asking permission to enter my dressing room? Something's up.
"Uh, sure." I said uncertainly and stepped to the side to let him in.
He stepped inside and looked around, still hiding whatever it was he was holding.
I closed the door and turned to him. "What's up?" I asked, not certain I wanted to know the answer.
"I, uh, brought you something." He said. He brought that thing he was hiding out from behind his back and offered it to me.
"Aww, a sunflower! They're my favorite!" I exclaimed as I put my nose in it to breath in the lovely scent.
"Yeah, mine too, recently." He said softly.
I looked up to see him smiling at me with kind, soft eyes.
"What do you mean?" I asked, butterflies in my stomach.
He took one of my hands with both of his and looked deep into my eyes.
I have to admit I was lost in his deep blue eyes as much as he was lost in my brown ones.
"I didn't like sunflowers until I met you. You're so sunny and happy and beautiful that sunflowers always remind me of you. That's why sunflowers are now my favorite, because every time I look at one, I think of you, and that makes me happy." He said tenderly.
He stroked my cheek with the back of his hand and I felt like I was going to faint.
"You are my Sonshine. You light up my day, even when we fight. I look forward to seeing you everyday, and I don't know how I got by before I met you. Sonny Monroe, I love you."
"I love you too." I whispered with tears welling up in my eyes. I could hardly breath and I was lucky that I even got that whisper out.
He smiled the biggest, happiest smile I've ever seen, and mine probably matched it.
He pulled me to him and wrapped his arms around me.
I did the same and the tears I'd been holding back started to flow.
I cried into his shirt and he rubbed my back soothingly, his grip never faltering.
I could have stayed like that forever.
When I finally stopped crying Chad pulled back and tilted my chin up with his cupped hand.
He pressed his lips to mine in the sweetest, purest, softest kiss in the world.
I was blissfully happy.
We pulled apart slowly and Chad caressed my cheek with his thumb.
I closed my eyes and sighed contently, the butterflies in my stomach flitting about at his touch.
"I love you, Sonny." Chad whispered tenderly.
"I love you too, Chad." I whispered back, and we leaned in for another kiss.
Yes, this is truly bliss.
A/N: Yes, really cliche and cheesy, but the idea came into my head and I just had to write it. I promise I'll update my other story soon! Please review! After you do, watch this awesome promo for SWAC Season 2!
