There was an episode where they were going to kiss and didn't so I'm just fixing it up a tad... I hope I'm not the only one who thinks their romance could have gone somewhere if they didn't die…damn it…

Oboro sat meekly upon the tatami mat, her hands rested against her lap, her head subserviently lowered and her eyes closed, the long lashes gently brushing her creamy cheeks. She softly inhaled the mild scent of the burning incense before opening her eyes and meeting the probing gaze of her fiancé. Her cheeks immediately begun to burn as their eyes locked and she abashedly averted her gaze…

"Why did you look away…?"

Kouga Gennosuke impassively observed the petit woman before him, his eyes discreetly searching her countenance. After a second, he closed his eyes an almost imperceptible smile grazing his lips at the soft flush that had tainted Oboro's cheeks.

"I-I…" she stuttered before pressing her hands against her lips and softly smiling. You are so silly, Oboro, she mentally chastised herself. She softly shook her head and raised her eyes to humbly peer at him. "Forgive me Gennosuke-sama…I-I did not mean to offend you."

Gennosuke opened his eyes before looking down at his hands that were tightly clenched upon his lap. There was a certain tension that rested upon him and he was uncertain of what exactly had ignited the feeling. Was it even tension…? He was unsure of what to label it and lowly sighed. When he glanced up he was much astonished to see that his fiancé had silently crept closer before him. She was mere inches away and he could smell the soft flowery scent that usually lingered around her. His heart rate quickened…

Oboro raised a small porcelain mug that was gently held between her hands and began the routine of serving him his meal.

The servant had only just brought in the dinner and Oboro performed that duty which was required of her. Carefully and gently she fed him, with a grace that was perhaps quite uncharacteristic of usual persona.

She uncertainly smiled as she poured the green tea, the dark strands of her hair smoothly falling into her indigo eyes. She leaned forward then to present the cup and faintly gasped when their fingertips brushed. Before she could withdraw however she felt the cool grasp of her fiancé's hand around her wrist and she looked up at him in wide eyed astonishment. They had never actually been this intimately connected before and Oboro felt her pulse quicken as the heat from his touch began to pleasurably flow throughout her body…

Her cheeks heated at the contact.

"Gennosuke-sama…" she shyly murmured.

"I-I am not adept in such matters of the heart…" he softly murmured as he firmly fixed his gaze upon her own. He then raised his hand as he cupped her chin between his fingers. "Oboro-dono, do you wish that-"

Before he could complete the sentence however, he felt the small lips of his fiancé pressed against his own and he stiffened. The tension slowly wore away and he relaxed beneath her touch before gently pulling her closer against him. He deepened the kiss and heard as she softly sighed…

His lips became more searching and before long he parted her own and begun to explore that which he had never before had the pleasure of doing…

Oboro gripped his shoulders and stayed him when she felt his warmth beginning to retreat…

"No…" she breathlessly murmured, "Stay tonight…It-it has been too long…"

Gennosuke groaned as she wound her hand into his hair and begun to shyly trail her lips against his throat…

Intimacy as this was something they had both never known….

The night was still young.
