"Imam wants to see the two of you." Jack said.
"Why?" She asked, moving away from him.
"He didn't tell me, he just said to come get you guys." Jack said.
"Give me a sec to get dressed." He said.
"'Kay." Jack said, heading out of the room.
He turned to go and she couldn't help but give him a quick pat on the butt.
"What? You need to watch yourself. I'll take you on this floor right here and now." He said.
"Really now?" She asked, mischievously.
"Gross! I'm still here!" Jack called from the other room.
"Sorry." She said while laughing
"Do you plan on staying here?" Imam asked.
"At the temple or on New Mecca?" Rhea asked.
"Neither." Riddick said.
"Does that go for the both of you?" Imam asked.
"Yes." He said.
"No." She said.
"What?" He asked.
"I have to check this place to see if I have family or friends here." She said.
"Well I plan on getting out of here as soon as possible, so make it quick." He said.
"I can't just find them, pop in for a quick hello, and then just leave with some guy I just met." She said.
"So, now I'm some guy you just met?" He asked.
"You know what I mean." She said.
Rhea was checking as many shops and community areas as she could to find out if anyone had encountered any of her family members or friends. She hadn't had any luck so far. There was part of her that was truly hoping someone had news because New Mecca was visited by several people around the galaxy. She rested in a nearby park and thought about what had happened earlier.
"Can't you just hear me out for five minutes?" She asked.
"No, because you're too stuck on finding people that probably aren't even here." He said, while getting ready to leave.
"So, you're telling me that you'd take me somewhere else they'd probably be?" She asked.
"No, because I'm looking to be away from civilization. Where mercs and everyone else won't keep bothering me." He said, never stopping to look at her while he was getting ready.
She stepped on something he was about to pick up.
"Will you wait for me?" She asked.
"You've got the rest of the day to find them, if you don't then you come with me, and if you do find them then I guess you've got a decision to make." He said, picking up what her foot was resting on as if the force she put on it was nothing.
"I might not see them again if I leave with him. Maybe I should ask, Imam, for advice." She said.
She found him while he was praying with the others, so she waited until he was done to ask him.
"If you were me would you go with a guy like, Riddick, somewhere that you would most likely never see anyone you knew ever again, or would you stay to find family and friends that have raised and loved you all your life?" She asked.
"I don't know, because I haven't lived your life. You have and you still can." He said before walking away.
"I didn't find them" She said.
"Great, let's go." He said, getting up.
"I've decided to keep looking." She said.
He stopped in his tracks. She felt a bit uneasy because she wasn't sure how he was going to react. He turned to face her and turned back around, he shook his head and started chuckling.
"Figures." He said, he looked back at her one more time. "Women." He walked out.
"You're not even going to say goodbye to me?" She asked.
"No, because people only do that sentimental crap when they feel someone matters to them." He said.
He continued to walk past she when she stopped in shock of his words.
"So, I don't mean anything to you?" She said angrily.
" far as I'm concerned, you're just another one-night stand. And trust me, there will be several others for me." He said.
'This asshole needs to check himself.' She thought.
She waited until they reached an area with benches to start rubbing up against him.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"One more time, before you leave?" She asked.
"Hooked on it already, huh?" He said cockily.
'That's right, get cocky. See what happens when you do.' She thought.
They sat down on a bench and she started grinding her hips into his.
"We might just get arrested for public indecency." He said, a hint of arousal in his voice.
"Doesn't that make it more exciting? Besides, we don't necessarily have to take our clothes off." She said, starting to make out with him.
She could feel his answer before he said anything. He grabbed hold of her butt and started rocking her back and forth on him.
"Almost done." He said, his hand up her shirt.
'That's my cue.' She thought, getting off him.
"Why'd you stop?" He asked.
"I wanted to give you something before you left, and I thought blue balls would be appropriate. I wanted it to be something that let you know how I feel about you. Have fun walking to your ship." She spat while walking away.
After Rhea had gotten back to the apartment she took the longest, hottest shower she had in her life. She tried to scrub as much of Riddick off her as was physically possible.
'I'll never be clean again. I can't believe I had that asshole inside of me.' She thought.
After she was done she crawled into bed, eyes red and swollen.
"Where'd, Riddick, go?" Jack asked, walking into her room after she noticed that he came back alone.
"I don't know, he didn't tell me." She said, rolling over so she was facing away from her.
"I thought you guys were like, together." Jack said, sitting down at the edge of the bed.
"No, he's just some guy I happened to think was worth something." She said.
"Do you think you'll ever see him again?" Jack asked.
She thought for a few minutes before she answered Jack.
"If you love something set it free, and if it comes back to you it was meant to be." She said.
