Close to You
A tidbit to distract myself from my current project. Slash ahoy.
Ellis was crying.
Okay, that's not quite true; he was sniffling. Still, tears were involved.
So he did something very un-Nick like. He slipped out of his sleeping bag, as quietly as possible as not to disturb a nearby sleeping Rochelle, and slipped into Ellis'.
Ellis tensed up visibly.
"Easy, sport," Nick said quietly, "Just me." He wrapped an arm around the younger man's stomach.
"Sorry," Ellis moaned pathetically.
"Don't worry about it," he tightened his embrace a little. "Try to get some sleep. Long day tomorrow."
That night, Ellis slept soundly for the first time in days.
