The Doctor and Amy walked back to the alleyway where the TARDIS was parked, having just subdued a giant lizard-like alien. The Doctor was about to snap his fingers to open the TARDIS doors, but a rustling in the nearby garbage bin made him stop.
He walked up to the open bin and peered into it. A pair of icy blue eyes met his green eyes as the cat came into the light. The Doctor was in the middle of deciding what to do with the the obviously homeless orange cat when said feline decided to jump onto him. The Doctor had to scramble in order to catch the cat.
After coming to a decision the Doctor said," Wow, I must like cats now." Amy raised an eyebrow at that comment.
"You mean you didn't before?" The Doctor shook his head.
"I practically despised them before. Though it was sort of justifiable considering I was threatened by an evil bipedal cat." Amy frowned at that but didn't say anything. The Doctor then snapped his fingers and started walking towards the TARDIS, cat in hand.
"So you're keeping the cat?" Amy asked as she walked towards the TARDIS.
"Yep. If only Rose could see me now." the Doctor stated as he entered the TARDIS.
"What do you think of the name Ginger for the cat?" The Doctor asked as Amy closed the doors behind her. Her response was a shrug.
"No, don't claw the console!" the Doctor shouted just before the TARDIS dematerialized into the vortex.
