A.N.: This fic was written right after I finished watching "Knight Fall". It was an incredible episode, so Hilson. And of course, it has spoilers about it. So if you haven't seen the episode...

Hope you like it!

Nobody would believe you capable of. You are for everybody a cold and selfish being. A big jerk who that doesn't care about anything or anybody. But they are wrong. There is one person that you care about. The only one for who you are capable of sacrifice it all.

He is the only person which you can count with when all the misery that you have created reached you. Without him, you would have given yourself in to despair. Only thanks to him you are able to do something to change the way you are, even if it is just for a moment- just the reflection of your pathetic life in his eyes is the one that make you doubt about the decisions you have taken. Only he is the voice of your conscience that overcomes your selfish heart.

Only he.

Wilson.

And now, when you throw away the envelope, you are only thinking in his happiness. Even when that means that you would be miserable. You are doing the same again. You already had let him be with Amber, but you irresponsible life ended with her. As if someone had read your sinful thoughts and had made them true. But you didn't really want that.

You want him to be happy.

Because he is very important for you. Because life shouldn't be random. Because lonely, misanthropic drug addicts should die in bus crashes, and young do-gooders in love, who get dragged out of their apartment in the middle of the night, should walk away clean.

But life is random. And you can't always get what you want. You lost your best friend once, and you don't want to lose it again. Because you hate to see him suffer, yet when it implies to roll around your own misery. You already tried to protect him from her, as you had done with Amber. But when it comes to Wilson and love you always are on losing streak.

You accept it as much as you can. You just don't want to see him suffer; you don't want him to get hurt again. That why you dislike her so much. But above all, because she threatens to take him from your side, to carry him away for ever. However, it won't be you who will hurt him this time.

Your leg hurts.

Your take more Ibuprofens that don't help with the pain.

Because is it your heart what hurts.

But you ignore that Wilson suffers if you suffer. Because you are his best friend.

And there are stories that if they don't end with the 'happily ever after', are doomed to end as the most divine of tragedies.

A.N.: This is what the episode left me inside. And when I watched I cried with the closing scene. Campanella I love you!!! (argentinian proud!)

And if you know what will happen in the last episode, you must agree that it is going to be Wilson's fault!

Oh, glorous and divine drama!!! (Bohemian artist)
