These words had been playing on Rachel's mind all day since Eddie had returned to waterloo road as executive head of course he was always going to be better than what max had always been like but she didn't know how to face him again after the break-up which had happened last year as Eddie had just told her that Melissa wasn't actually pregnant with his baby it was with tom's, toms of all people he should know better.

"Penny for your thoughts?? " Eddie said as he had come in unexpectedly.

"Eddie what you doing here??" Rachel asked.

"I got offered a job I didn't realise it was here."

"What about Melissa and do you know who the father is??Of the baby I mean" Rachel asked

"I don't know anything about the baby all I know is that it is not British that's how I found out it's not mine " Eddie had replied

"She really has done it hasn't she?? " Rachel said

"Yes" Eddie replied as Rachel stood up a bit too close to him as he kissed her and she didn't pull away she wasn't going to ruin it this time round.

Just then Chris came in joined with Kim too

"We can just come back later if you want it's just that you maybe's forgot that it was a meeting" Kim said

"Sorry" Rachel and Eddie both said at the same time as Chris and Kim left.

"Rach I mean what I say about loving you" Eddie said

"I know because I love you too" Rachel replied
