The Unthinkable

Disclaimer: I do not own the Twilight Saga or any of the characters.

A/N: So it has been a long time since I've done a story so please be patient with me. Suggestions are ALWAYS appreciated and I would love to get some reviews so I know how I'm doing. Hope you all enjoy.

I sat at the cafeteria table tapping my fingers on its smooth surface. How long have I been sitting here? Everything seemed to be such a blur lately. Nothing seemed right… not since HE left. Yeah I know you probably think I'm stupid for whining over a guy who left me in the middle of the woods alone and never returned, but he wasn't just any guy. Enough about him I can't even stand to think about him anymore. I flicked a piece of corn off the table and onto the floor before standing up and walking out the cafeteria double doors. I quickly hurried around the corner and leaned against a wall behind the building where all the smokers snuck to get a quick nicotine fix. I quickly pulled out my Camel Filters and lit one up. So much had changed in the last year. Well at least I definitely had. I had pretty much changed my whole lifestyle. I suddenly was brought back from my thoughts by a girl asking if she could bum a cigarette. I quickly handed her one but as I handed it over I realized it was the new girl. I think her name was Natalie. She started last week but made no attempt to fit in. Like me, she always sat alone and made no effort to talk to anyone. I noticed she was staring at me with a mischievous grin on her face.

"I'm glad I ran into you today" she said as she inched a little closer to me. "I've been wanting to talk you"

If only I had known what I was getting myself into…
