Xander wasn't known for being stealthy. He was the loudest of the group and more often than not he ruined the plan of sneak attacks. Right now though he was on a mission and he was determined to follow through. Slowly he slid the blankets off his sleeping lover's body. Spike was a heavy sleeper; it always took naughty touchy to wake him up. As quietly as he could he took the lid off of the container he was holding and began to sprinkle to contents on to the pale skin.
All too soon the jar was empty and contents spread across Spike's chest and stomach. Setting it aside Xander picked up a small flash light and flicked it on. Slowly he glided the light across the colourless flesh.
"Xander?" Spike asked his voice filled with sleep.
With a yelp Xander tossed the flashlight over his shoulder, "Great googly moogly Spike! Give me a heart-attack why don't you?"
Spike raised an eye brow, "Why are you whipping a flashlight around? I may be a heavy sleeper to most things but having lights flash before my bloody eyes isn't one of them."
"Oh I didn't think about that," Xander replied and plucked at a thread on his sweat pants.
"Why are you up so bloody early anyways?" Spike questioned and scratched at his chest. Cringing he brought his hand up to examine when he felt something scrap under his nails. He hated having anything under his nails; Xander would make fun of him for hours on end when he'd file his nails and keep them tidy to prevent that from happening, "Xander… why do I have sparkly crap on me?"
Xander looked incredibly guilty, but didn't answer.
Spike laid there trying to figure out what would possess his pet to do something like that. It suddenly clicked. "The girls made you watch that damn movie again, didn't they?"
"Kind of," Xander admitted still looking guilty. "There are just so many times you can watch that movie before you start wondering what a real vampire would look like all sparkly like."
"And? How does a real vampire look like all sparkly?" Spike asked sitting up none of the stuff coming off.
Xander's eyes wandered over Spike's body once more before answering, "Kind of gay and not in the 'I want to jump you' sort of way."
"So what did we learn from this little experiment?" Spike questioned hoping that his boy learned something.
"That a vampire should not sparkle and Twilight is a very dumb movie?" Xander guessed.
Spike smiled at Xander very proud of him, "And you're never gonna watch that bloody movie again?"
Xander shook his head no, "I promise I will never watch that movie anymore and if the girls try to peer pressure I'll tell them they'll have to deal with you."
"That's my boy," Spike leaned in and kissed Xander on the lips and pulled him back down on the bed. "Can we go back to sleep now?"
"Yup! The girls want me to go over to their place to watch a movie in a few hours though." Xander commented as he snuggled against Spike's side.
Spike's hand glided up and down Xander's arm, "What movie do they have planned this time?"
Xander looked at Spike with a wicked grin on his face, "Interview with the Vampire."
Spike's hand stopped moving, "Bloody hell."
