"Dance with me."
"You call what you were doing dancing?"
"What do you call it?"
"It looked to me more like a mating ritual."
"Then mate with me."
Angelus emitted a low growl as Buffy began dancing around him, her hand always touching some part of him. When she was again in front of him, she raised both hands over her head and continued dancing. He couldn't stand it any longer; he reached out and pulled her to him. Buffy mimicked Baby's movements from the 'Dirty Dancing' movie. Her friends were watching from their table in the corner and added their own verbal encouragements when Willow called out "Go Buffy! Go Buffy!"
Angelus was not to be outdone; he surprised them with his own Johnny Castle moves and they finished 'Dirty Dancing' style receiving applause and whistles when the dance was over.
Angelus escorted her back to her table where he sat down and pulled her into his lap.
"I didn't know that you could dance like that," Willow told him.
"You mean you didn't know that Angel could dance like that. He can't. I can."
"But it's the same body," Xander said.
"But not the same person, haven't you people learned that yet?" Angelus asked in an annoyed tone.
Xander stared at him and then as though a light had come on he said, "You know, for the first time I'm beginning to see that."
Angelus relaxed as Angel pushed his way to the surface. He gave a little smirk and said, "It's about time, Harris."
Xander stared again and realizing what had happened he choked out, "Angel?"
"You guys have got to stop doing that; you're freaking me out."
His friends laughed.
The band started a familiar song and Buffy stood up grabbing Angel's hand, "Come on everybody; let's dance."
Angel relaxed and let Angelus out again. "I think that's my cue," he said as he gave Buffy a spin.
"I'm never going to get used to this," Xander groaned and the gang laughed again as they headed for the dance floor.
