A Persona 3 Fanfiction
Author's Note: I was browsing through the listings and couldn't find a single ProtagonistXChihiro fanfic. Well, there was one, but...trust me, it wasn't very...*sigh*...Just, just, you just don't do that!
The rain came down in sheets on Port Island. An unexpected typhoon had rolled in and it just had to be the day she forgot her umbrella.
She had called her mother to come pick her up, but she knew that that could take a few hours, so she just sat in the school's lobby eating a health bar she had gotten from the concession stand.
She stared out the window at the pounding rain, berating herself for having forgotten her umbrella. 'Stupid Student Council, making me get here so early that I forget things at home.' she thought bitterly, but caught herself because those weren't like her usual thoughts.
She sighed and was about to get up and brave the storm, she spotted a familiar tuft of blue hair walk into the locker area. He traded out his school shoes for a pair of black sneakers. He turned toward her. "Oh, hello."
She gulped a bit as a small blush crept onto her face. "Hello."
"Are you okay? You look a tad pale." He asked with a bit of concern in his voice.
"No, I'm fine, really." she said quietly, finding the floor very interesting all-of-a-sudden.
He took a seat beside her. "Are you sure? You can talk to me about these things you know? I am your friend."
She looked up at him slowly. He had a slight smile on his face, that made him look so understanding. When she saw him like this, she felt very safe.
"I-it's nothing. Just the rain, and I forgot my umbrella."
"Oh. Did you call your parents?"
"Yes, I called my mother, but it may be a while before she arrives."
"Hmm. That is a predicament."
They sat in silence for a minute. Then, he lifted his umbrella.
"We could walk together."
She looked up at him. "Oh! T-that really isn't necessary!" She said with her blush a bit brighter and speaking panicked. "I don't want to cause you any problems!"
"No problem at all. Anyways, my stop's on the way." He stood up and opened the umbrella. "Shall we go?"
I took a second, but her brain finally caught up with the situation. She stood up, nodded, got under the umbrella, and they walked towards her home.
She tried to avoid looking at him, lest he notice that her face was beet-red. He just silently walked forward, turning every now and then when she moved toward the appropriate street.
Unfortunately, the short way to her house involved going down Shirakawa Boulevard, which only made her blush harder, but she thought she a bit of one on his face too.
Eventually they reached her house. She went out from under the umbrella and under the awning. "Thanks for walking me home." "It's no trouble, really."
He then turned around and began walking. "H-hey, I thought you said my home was 'on the way.'" "Nah, my train was about 5 blocks back. See you tomorrow!"
As he walked away, she went back inside. 'Did he do that on purpose?' she thought.
It suddenly occurred to her that she needed to call he mother, but that could wait a minute or two.
Right now, she was on Cloud Nine.
Alright, when I thought of this, I admittedly thought a lot about the cut cut-scene in Persona 4, and I thought, "Wow, I need to do something like that." Oh, yeah, this is number 2 of 10 in my Persona series. Hope y'all enjoyed it. R & R. Oh, by the way, the Justice link at this point is 6 or 7.
