Title: Soul Return
Disclaimer: Don't own. Just playing with the boys a bit.
Characters(Pairings): Dean/Castiel implied pre-slash, Zachariah
Zachariah blinked down at the younger angel and the human soul it carried. "Name?"
"Castiel," the angel said.
"How can I assist you?"
"I am returning this soul."
The Seraphim blinked again. "Why? Is there something wrong with it?"
"No," Castiel said.
"This soul is…perverted."
Zachariah almost asked for clarification before seeing the light blush on Castiel's cheeks. "I see. Soul's name?"
Blinking at the clipboard he held, this time, Zachariah peered closer at the soul that was curled around Castiel's form. "Winchester?"
The Seraphim sighed. "I'm sorry. That soul's been marked with a no-return policy. I'm afraid you're stuck with it, unless you can find an angel willing to take it."
It was Castiel's turn to sigh as the angel tried to pry the soul—Dean Winchester—off of his form. "I see. Thank you for your time."
The angel turned to leave, soul determinedly clinging to him, when Zachariah remembered something. "Castiel?"
"Yes?" Castiel paused, peering back at the Seraphim.
"I would recommend talking to Gabriel. My records show that he is in possession of a soul named Samuel Winchester. He may be of assistance with regards to your…problems regarding this one."
Castiel considered the other angel's words. "Perhaps. Thank you for your assistance, Zachariah."
"You're welcome, Castiel," Zachariah said, already waving the next angel forward. "Name?"
