This can accompany Dear Harry, but I guess could also be read individually. This is during Ginny's sixth year, when The Carrows took over the castle while Harry, Ron and Hermione were out searching for the horocruxes.
"It's okay," Ginny Weasley told the crying first year who was shaking on the floor. "I won't hurt you. The Carrows are gone. They won't hurt you. Let's go to the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey will take care of you," She held out her hand to help the little boy up. He flinched at the movement and didn't take it.
"No more...no more...it hurts..." The boy screamed.
"I know," Ginny said soothingly, her eyes filling with tears at the little boy's pain. "But let's go to the hospital wing."
"I...can't...I can't...it hurts!"
Ginny frowned. He was just a small little thing. She could probably carry him. "Is it okay if I lift you?" She asked the boy.
Ginny picked him up and carried the limp boy to the hospital wing. On the way she tried to ask him a few questions. "What's your name, sweetie?" She asked.
"I'm Ginny, Ben, I promise you won't be hurt again tonight."
"I...I want...my...my mom." He sobbed.
"I know," Ginny said softly. "What house are you in?"
"Gryf...Gryfindor...but I...I'm not...not brave enough."
"You're VERY brave, Ben," Ginny said. "How could you say that? You're a million times braver than those bloody Carrows."
"Th...thanks." Ginny had now entered the hospital wing.
"Oh my!" Exclaimed Madam Pomfrey, "What is this?" She asked rushing over to Ginny and Ben, who had been placed on a bed.
"The Carrows," Ginny muttered darkly. "They used the cruciatus curse on him over and over again."
The motherly matron scowled and then turned to Ben. "it's all right, dear, you're safe now." Ben just sobbed. "I think a calming draught is in order," Madam Pomfrey said. She summoned it and gave it to Ben, who drank it. Slowly he calmed down enough to speak. Madam Pomfrey healed the wounds and said to the boy, "Does that feel better?"
"You're quite welcome, dear," And with a pat on the shoulder, the matron left to help other patients.
"Are you all right now?" Ginny asked kindly.
"All right, Ben. I'm going to leave now. Come to me if you have any problems at all, okay?"
Ben nodded. Ginny left the hospital wing and ran directly into the two people she hated most. The Carrows.
"What have we here?" Alecto snarled. "Little Weasley helped a troublemaker."
"Yes," Amycus added. "Troublemakers are to be punished, not aided. This will have to be punished."
"CRUCIO!" The two said together. Ginny winced as the pain began.
If you liked this, review! Or...even if you didn't. That's okay too. And if you really liked it, you can read the story that this originally came from. It's called Dear Harry and you can find on my profile at the top of the screen there. Also, I have a trailer for Dear Harry on you tube. It's called Dear Harry and my username is RavenclawPrincess52. Anyways, I'll stop advertising now. Reviews make me very happy!
