Nothing much. I love the game Final Fantasy XIII, but the ending's been bugging me for a while. Here's my take on how it should've gone.

"Orphan!" Lightning shouted, raising her blade to defend herself.

The fal'Cie towered above them, flailing one hand in the air for some unknown reason.

"The creature that keeps Cocoon aloft" Vanille murmured, "The being we all rely on"

"We have to destroy it" Fang twirled her spear impressively in her hands, losing control for a moment and almost hitting Hope with the end. "To save everyone"

"Um…why?" Hope turned, frowning, and ducking beneath Fang's spear as she swung it through the air. "We've just killed Barthendelus and there are no more Pulse fal'Cie on Cocoon"

"We can do anything if we put our minds to it" Snow punched his hands together

"That's Hope's line" Lightning hit her soon-to-be brother-in-law with the hilt of her sword.

They stood there, each glaring up at the purple-and-gold (And seriously, who came up with that colour scheme?) Orphan.

Five minutes later, Sazh, Hope, Snow, Vanille and Fang stood outside the room. Lightning was just inside. She tilted her head, staring at the fal'Cie.

"No!" It shrieked, "You are mine! You shall defeat me!"

"We tried that" Lightning reasoned, "You kept trying to kill us."

"We're not bothering any more!" Snow shouted into the room.

Lightning stepped outside into the white corridors. She turned, shut the door, and locked it.

"Right, problem solved. Now what?"
