Your baby blues, so full of wonder

Your curly cues, your contagious smile

"Sakura! I was too late?" Gin could still remember her feathery soft fur, and her angelic voice that melted his troubles away. They had not shared a proper good-bye. He did not get a chance, just one chance, to tell her how much she truly meant to him.

And as I watch, you start to grow up

All I can do is hold you tight

Knowing clouds will rage

And storms will race in, but you will be safe in my arms.

The stars glowed in the sky. The grass danced and licked his fur with every warm breath. Gin rested his head on his paws and listened to the sounds of crickets chirping and the distant echoes of dogs howling.

"Sakura," he whispered. "I'm sorry." His blue eyes were clouded with guilt. "I missed the birth of our pups. I wasn't there to cure you when you got sick." Two raindrops fell down his face.

Rain will pour down, waves will crash around

But you will be safe in my arms.

A shadow nuzzled the down hearted leader. Warmth radiated off of it in bright lights and a soft voice spoke.

"Our pup is alive and safe." Gin looked up to see Sakura's gentle smile. "Find him."

Castles they might crumble

Dreams may not come true

But you are never all alone

'Cause I will always, always love you.

She intertwined with the latest breeze and blew away like a torn petal.

"Whenever you see a cherry blossom tree, think of me."

But you will be safe in my arms

In my arms.
