SlythindorPrincess: hey everyone.. i just thought of this fic.. I was sitting in my moms work feeling cold and i just thought of it..so ENJOY!

It was a cold, December night. On the third floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Hermione Granger lay on her bed, shivering.

This year, students could come back and retake their seventh year, since most of them were on the run from Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort himself. This year Hermione had her own room... she was Head Girl! This year the Head's got their own rooms, bathroom, a kitchen and a small lounge area. She loved it, being in her own dorm, but the thing she didn't like about it was that the Head Boy this year was none other than Draco Malfoy, who had taken the Head Boy's room, which was the door at the other end of the lounge. But after the war last year he had gotten more, civil. She hadn't gotten a single insult this year from him, not one… Even Harry and Ron noticed that he wasn't as… cocky. Surprisingly enough Hermione had been getting closer to Malfoy… They kept it a secret though, because if their other friends knew that, they'd both get an earful.

"G-good m-Merlin, it's c-cold in here," she was freezing, "h-how can D-Draco even sleep l-like this?"

She got up from her bed and wrapped her blanket around herself to try and keep herself warm. When that didn't work, she walked out of her room and slowly walked over to the Head Boy's door. Shivering, she slowly turned the knob and walked in.

"It's warm in here... did he put a spell on this room?"

She stayed at the same spot, enjoying the warmth, before heading over to Draco's bed.

"Oh, he looks so peaceful…" she said, and then she started to shake him, "Draco! Draco, wake your butt up, now!"

Malfoy turned around to his side, opening his eyes slightly, "Huh? Granger? What are you doing here?"

"I… I was wondering if I could sleep in here. It is bloody freezing in my room… please?"

He looked at her for a moment and sighed.

"Alright," he said, scooting over for her, "Come here."

He patted the bedding, it looked so warm and inviting, but then she noticed he wasn't wearing a shirt. She couldn't help but stare for a moment. She had never seen him without a shirt before and she noticed, for the first time, that he was pretty well built.

"Are you going to lay down or not? And what are you staring at?" he asked.

"Nothing, nothing… I was just wondering how you could sleep without a shirt in this kind of cold."

"I've got a heating charm on the room," he said, "I'm surprised you didn't think of that."

Hermione was a bit surprised that she didn't think of that either. Then again, she didn't have Charms until Thursday and that was a totally new spell. And, quite honestly, Hermione didn't want to go back into her own room. She lied down next to him.

"Merlin, Granger, you're freezing cold," he said, "come here."

He snuggled closer to her, sharing his warmth.

"There, is that better?" He asked, looking down at her.

She sighed then looked up at him, "Much better."

This was one of the many reasons she was starting to like him. He was much nicer now that Lord Voldemort wasn't manipulating his family. He was also just a lot more likeable.

"Good, now go to sleep, love," he said, holding her tighter.

In the moment of complete warmth and bliss, Hermione remembered something.

Her eyes opened, "Draco?"

He looked down at her, "Yes, Hermione?"

She leaned up and kissed him, "Thank you."

He smiled at kissed her forehead, "You're welcome."
