"Damon why did you drag me to a bakery store"? Elena asked me. "This is where I come when I need to relax and enjoy myself" I replied, shrugging. I dragged her to an empty table and sat her down. "You're going to love their desserts I said, excited. She rolled her eyes and sat back. The table was right up against the window, so she was able to put her head against it and relax.

I almost sat down in till I saw her. She was the most beautiful thing I ever laid my eyes on. I could taste her already. Dark, rich, and creamy. I had to get a better look. I walked up to the case that had the most delicious looking pie I ever seen. I closed my eyes and imagined me shoving it into my mouth. I was interrupted by my sister in law. "Damon, what are you doing?" She asked. I turned sharply around and put my finger to my lips, shushing her. She was ruining the moment.

I resumed dreaming about the pie, in till Marty, the owner of the place, cleared his throat. "Damon, would you like to buy that pie?" He asked, smiling. I've known him for 10 years, so long that he knows my secret love for pies, and would go crazy if I didn't have it. "Yes" I said dreamily, still looking at the pie.

He didn't talk for a moment so I took the chance to resume my day dreaming, in till he told me the price. "82 dollars" He said. Darn him for ruining this golden moment! "Come on Marty, cant you give it to me for free?" I begged. "Well…I guess just this once" He sighed. I almost squealed like a little girl but that would be out of the question. I grabbed the pie and ran over to Elena, shouting a "thank you" to Marty.

"Elena look what I got" I cried, sounding like a little girl who just got a new doll. "A pie, really Damon?" She murmured. I ignored her and grabbed her hand, leading her to the car and pushing her roughly in. I ran over to the back seat of the car and put the pie gently, slowly in. So slowly that I almost dropped it when Elena shouted "Come on!". I growled at her and she growled back, only because she was now a vampire.

I put the pie in and put a seatbelt around it, so it wouldn't fall on the floor. I got into the driver's side and started the car. When we went to all the stores Elena wanted to go to, Boarders to get a new book, Wal-Mart to get some birthday cards for Caroline, and Fridays, because she was hungry, we went back to the boarding house.

When we got there, I jumped out of the car and peered into the window and screamed. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Inside my car was a beautiful pie, a pie I would never get to eat because it was all over the car floor.
