I got a suggestion and I tried writing it, but this is what came out. I'm happy with it though. Enjoy! :D
Each team member took a seat on the small BAU jet. They just finished a case involving the kidnapping of teenage girls. Their Unsub would kidnap the girls when they were loitering around the park and then keep and torture them until they couldn't form coherent thoughts anymore. To say the case wasn't stressful enough, they all still had to make plans for the upcoming holiday: Valentine's Day.
"So, kid." Morgan started a conversation once they were well of the Arizona, desert ground. "Got any plans to find a Valentine?"
"Um, no. Not yet." Reid stammered.
"Not yet?" Prentiss joined in. "Are you thinking of asking someone?"
"Oh, I could help with that. You can come to the club with me, be my wing-man." Morgan's chocolate eyes lit up at the idea of hooking Reid up with a girl.
"I don't think he meant like that. He might already have someone in mind."
"Oh really?" Morgan's eyebrows rose while he turned from Prentiss to Reid. "And who might that be?"
"I don't-no." He continued to stammer and fiddle with his pen. "I was thinking of getting together with some of my friends and having a Star Wars marathon."
"Yeah? And would any of these 'friends' be real? Or are they plastic figurines?" Morgan said.
"MORGAN!" Prentiss yelled in a harsh whisper. The death glare she sent at Morgan when he mentioned the figures almost gave him a heart attack. "There is nothing wrong with Star Wars. Or the figurines; they're collectibles."
Morgan laughed before, again, turning to Reid. "No seriously, kid. I can get you a date. I'm sure there are plenty of girls who would like you."
Outraged, Prentiss slapped him upside the head. "You can't just say that and then turn away."
JJ watch bemused from the couch in the corner instead of working on her crossword. She always thought it was funny how Morgan and Prentiss could get into petty arguments with each other over nothing. They acted like brother and sister.
When she looked down at Reid, she saw his flushed cheeks and his fingers fumbling with the pen in his hand. She always liked his innocence even after everything they saw. Before Reid could answer, she interrupted the two profilers' banter. All three pairs of eyes turned to her. "I'm sure Reid doesn't need either of you two helping him find a girl. Neither of you have the best choice in dates."
"Oh, and you think you can do better?" Morgan perked up instantly.
She smirked mischievously before replying, "I know I can." The defiant gleam in her blue eyes could send shivers up any Unsub's arms.
"Okay then. You're on. What's the prize?" Prentiss asked.
"Um, guys?" Reid cautiously peeked around Morgan's form to look at them. "Don't I get a say in any of this?"
"Depends." Morgan answered. "Do you have anyone in mind? I mean, besides Star Wars fans?"
"Well," he started. "I was kinda thinking of asking JJ herself, considering she's my girlfriend and all."
Morgan and Prentiss' jaws both hung open. They looked at each other, then back at Reid, before they finally turned to JJ.
She leaned back in her chair, smirking, before saying, "I win."
