Late the next morning, Sam wakes to the sound of paper rustling. He rolls onto
his side to face the little table Dean is sitting at.
"What are you doing, Dean?"
"Looking for a case... Hey, some guy woke up and was missing three toes! Worth
checking out? Eh maybe not... He could just be psychotic."
"What are you talking about? We have Rosie's case."
"Sammy, that isn't a case! Clearly a human killed her parents. It sucks, but
there's not much we can do about it."
"I think we can help..."
"Well, I'm going to go take a look at our seven-toed dude. You coming?"
Sam sighs. "Lemme just take a shower..."
"Alright, I guess he's just psychotic..."
"You 'guess'? Dean, he showed us the toes he cut off! They were in a box."

A pair of blue eyes peeked from behind the door.
"Dean? Where's Sam?" There was no mistaking the worried favoritism in her voice.
"Looking out back for whatever you saw... Can I come in?"
"A bit scared are we?" Dean asked, smirking at the loaded gun in Rosie's hand.
"I... I'm not normally like this... I've just... I've never seen anything like
"What exactly did you see?"
"It was... An old lady. Her back was all hunched, her face was wrinkly... Her
hair looked like dreadlocks...like snakes, almost. She was dragging a long

Rosie nodded. "It was studded with something. Bronze maybe..."
When told the details of the creature, Sam had no more ideas than Dean.
