Takes place after the kiss in the common room. Harry and Ginny go outside to talk.

The fat lady shut the noise of the common room inside and Harry looked at Ginny.

"Do you want to go to the lake?"

The two walked in silence through the castle and out on the grounds.

Harry took her hand as they stopped in the shade of a large tree. They stood there for a moment looking at each other before Ginny spoke.

"Do I ever cross your mind?"

"No," Harry responded quickly.

"Do you like me," she asked timidly.

"Do you want me," tears came to her eyes but she wasn't going to let them fall.

"Would you cry if I left?"

"Would you live for me?"

"Would you do anything for me?"

"Choose me or your life," she asked as the first tear slid down her cheek.

"My life."

Ginny turned and ran away in shock and pain. But Harry followed finally catching up and stopping her. As he turned her to face him he spoke.

"The reason you never cross my mind, is because you are always on my mind. The reason I don't like you is because I love you. The reason I don't want you is because I need you. The reason I wouldn't cry if you left is because I would die if you left. The reason why I'm not willing to do anything for you is because I would do everything for you. And the reason I choose my life is because you are my life Ginny."

She stood there a moment shocked at his words before she threw herself into his arms crying.
