a/n: first maximum ride one-shot thing. lol. I actually like Dylan. He's funny. :P But, Fang totally rules. Actually, no. IGGY PWNS ALL. Also, it's supposed to be short. Meh. Maybe I'll write something longer for the fandom. *Shrug*

That is all.

(For Leandra, my twin. Here you go.)

"You know, Dylan…" Fang started with a slightly amused smirk on his face. He swooped down from the roof, his onyx-colored wings glittering brilliantly against the bright sun over head. Dylan's blond head tilted up, only to be blinded by the Angel of Death attempting to take his life.

He would've flailed if it wasn't so stupid.

"Fang your tricks get annoying after a while." Dylan managed to snap after shielding his eyes from the sun. Fang shrugged, flicking his long, black bangs back, before taking his place on the tree branch Dylan was sitting under.

"I know they do. I just do it for the sake of annoying you." Fang said with an air of boredom to his words. Dylan rolled his eyes and went back to his book.

"What was it that you wanted to tell me? If you're here to annoy me, it would be nice for you to do that some other time." The dark-haired teen let out a short laugh, and then a scoff.

"Well, Dylan, I just wanted to clear something up between us. Many fans think that I'm the 'jealous type', especially my blog followers." Fang's eyes flashed with disgust when he mentioned 'followers'. Dylan merely let out a grunt as he flipped a page in his book.

"And what does that have to do with me?"

Fang shrugged and leaped off the tree branch, landing on his legs, nimble as a cat. He began walking back to the main house, where Max was probably burning something with her God-awful cooking.

"I just wanted to let you know that I'm not the jealous type." There was a pause. "I'm the 'I'll slit your throat in the middle of the night while my girlfriend's asleep' type. Sweet dreams." Fang disappeared, leaving Dylan in a state of shock. The male cocked his head slightly and then dropped his book. Scrambling to his feet, the teen quickly picked up his book and decided it was now a nice time to find out how much timeshares in Europe cost.
