Pooch entered the house quietly. He hadn't gone with the others but had heard from various phone calls that the night previous was going to go down in Losers history as one to be remembered. The soldiers at the gate had just shaken their heads when he'd asked if anything had been damaged. He shifted the drink holder with four cups of coffee; one black, one black with sugar, one with extra cream/extra sugar, and a French vanilla cappuccino, while he set the bag of donuts on the kitchen table. The driver had a room in the house from before he'd married Jolene and the rest of the team hadn't touched it since Pooch still used it on occasion.
"How was your night?" Pooch asked.
"Outstanding," Clay answered as he dabbed the cut on his lip with a wet washcloth. "How's Jolene?"
"Good," Pooch replied as he handed the cup with black coffee and sugar to his CO. "What happened last night?"
"Someone who will not be named got into a fight with a stripper in chainmail," Roque snarled and grabbed the cappuccino. "Then went to a bar and hit one someone's girlfriend."
"Where were Jensen and Cougar during all of this?" He inquired while he grabbed a plate to put the donuts on.
"We lost them at the strip club." Clay told him. The Colonel snagged the donut with pink frosting.
"So, Cougar probably went home with at least three of the lovely ladies and Jensen is in the local drunk tank," Pooch laughed. He stopped when he saw the looks on the other two men's faces. "What?"
"Jensen came home last night," Clay began. "Not alone."
"Wait, Mr. There are no Elves at Helms Deep, got a girl to come home with him?" Pooch repeated. "Jensen, who eats Lucky Charms in the field? How do you know he brought someone home?"
"Yeah. Cougar is still MIA. And the blonde wonder was yelling 'Fuck me harder, Carla' at the top of his lungs half an hour ago." Roque grumbled. "And the noises..God, the noises."
As if he'd known they had talked about his night, Jensen appeared with a bang of the basement door. The hacker wore a pair of black boxers. His chest was a road map of bite marks and bruises. He mumbled something on his way to the bathroom. Pooch eyed the CO and SIC before he went down into the basement. The hacker and the sniper had spent the weekend after their handler had given them the house converting the basement. Cougar had walled off half of the basement then quartered it. He'd given Jensen the room closest to the stairs. Pooch went to Cougar's room first.
The sniper had a simple twin bed with white sheets and a black army issue comforter. The only personal touch to the room was a hat rack near the door. All around the room were rifle parts and gun magazines. There was a theory that Cougar had another place somewhere, possibly where he went when they had leave but it wasn't confirmed. The Spaniard wasn't in. The driver quietly crept to the hacker's door. It had The Alliance symbol painted on it. Pooch pushed slowly until the door was opened all the way.
Their techie's room was Spartan. Which was a surprise because Jensen would order things online whenever they had downtime on a mission and have it delivered to somewhere. There was a book case on one wall filled with tech manuals. There was a computer desk with the hacker's two laptops on it. The main attraction of the hacker's room was his bed. It was a king size sleigh bed. It was the only indulgence Jensen really had. Pooch knew the red sheets were a high thread count Egyptian cotton. There were feather pillows and the comforter had been expensive. He knew this because they'd been in Dubai and it was the only thing the hacker talked about. Jensen hated when they had to sleep on the ground.
Pooch snapped his attention back to the bed. There was someone under the black comforter and that someone wore the green shirt that Jensen had left in the night before. The driver tried to see the girl but her face was burrowed into the pillows and eclipsed by her dark hair. He could see the girl's mocha skin tone.
"Excuse me, Pooch," Jensen said and to this day, Pooch stands by the fact he didn't let out a scream that sounded slightly girly. He stepped to the side as the hacker sidled into the room. He had the two remaining coffees and two donuts on a plate. "How was your night?"
"Good. Did the dinner and a movie date with Jolene," Pooch replied as the hacker put the donuts and his black coffee on his desk. The coffee with extra cream and extra sugar remained in his hand. "You're going to have to buy Cougs a replacement."
"I don't think he'll mind," The hacker grinned as he sat on the bed. "Despertar, mi amor."
Pooch gaped as Jensen leaned down and kissed the person that occupied his bed. The driver's eyes widened when Cougar sat up. The synapses in his brain caught up, it hadn't been 'Carla' that the hacker had screamed; it'd been 'Carlos.' The sniper took a donut off the plate Jensen had grabbed off the desk and held his coffee up to acknowledge Pooch.
"Buenos dias, Pooch," Cougar greeted. "Como estas?"
"How long has this been going on?" Pooch asked. "Not that I care, just curious."
"Last night," Jensen replied. The hacker had The Look on his face. The Look was something Jensen got on his face as he coiled to either verbally or physically attack someone. The first time Pooch had seen it was when they'd gone to visit Jensen's sister and her ex-boyfriend had been on the porch. Roque had held Jensen back but it was Cougar that broke a few of the guy's ribs.
"Cool," Pooch stated. "Well, the Poochman is going to go upstairs, eat a donut, then pack for our next mission."
"Where are we going?" Jensen asked.
Despertar, mi amor- wake up my love
Buenos dias-Good morning
"Como estas?"-How are you?
