A/N: A big shout out to Maye, Kisa Black, MuggleCreator, penguincrazy, Twiloc, and Bloody Phantom for their reviews! So now onto the next set of reunions!
Fred was sitting on the ground in a state of shock. Sure he had expected all his siblings to be married with kids (with the exception of Charlie who had only ever taken an interest in another human being once and now she was happily married). But this? He had never expected this. He almost wanted to ask if he was dreaming or being pranked. Katie Bell beside him. She was talking but he didn't hear anything. He was still trying to process what she had said. This wasn't fair; he was supposed to shock everyone with how he was alive. Nothing should have shocked him!
Bill and Fleur left with Ron. A few seconds later, Angelina Johnson and Katie Bell walked in. Both stopped in their tracks at the sight of him. He smirked.
"Well hello," he said. Angelina raised an eyebrow.
"Is this some sort of demo for a new anti-aging product or something?" she demanded clearly thinking he was George.
"No, this is the one and only Fred Weasley," he replied. "Perhaps you know of me? Or has it been so long since you last saw me that you failed to realize I still have both of my ears?"
He watched both Angelina and Katie glance at the side of his head. He could hear their gasps of realization. Katie stepped forward and touched his face gently.
"Is it really you?" she whispered still not daring to believe.
"Of course it is, Kate, would I…or George for that matter…lie to you like that? He doesn't even know I'm up here," Fred said taking her hand in both of his. Katie promptly burst into tears. Shocked, Fred pulled into his arms trying to calm her. He looked at Angelina. She too looked about ready to cry but she kept herself together. Fred couldn't recall ever seeing her cry except at Dumbledore's funeral.
"I see Fred's getting quite a lot of attention, but while he's otherwise preoccupied I'd like to say it's good to see you again, Angelina," Remus spoke trying to ease some of the tension. Angelina jumped and her eyes widened.
"Professor Lupin?" she said. She cleared her throat. "I…"
"I know it's a lot to take in but it's not a dream," Remus said.
"Believe me, I can't imagine you being that cruel," Angelina chuckled. "You always seemed so kind and sincere."
Sirius snorted catching Angelina's attention. "I'm sorry; it's just that I can't picture him that way at all."
"You're the infamous Sirius Black," Angelina said. Sirius sobered.
"Infamous, I hate that word."
"You practically invented it," Dora said. Angelina looked her. She smiled kindly.
"I've always wanted to meet you, Mrs. Lupin," she said. "You must be very special for Professor Lupin to have married you."
Dora blushed. "Thanks,"
"And your son is the sweetest boy I've ever met," Angelina said. "You'd be proud of him."
"Sweet?" Ron whispered incredulously. The others ignored him. Katie was peering at the others through Fred's arms.
"Hi, I'm Ted Tonks, Dora's father," Ted said introducing himself to Angelina and nodding toward Katie.
"So you're the famous Muggleborn who stole a Black's heart," Angelina said. "You're something of a legend in pureblood society."
"Am I?" Ted asked in surprise.
"Well, Blacks are notoriously prejudiced. It's a miracle you broke through one of them," Angelina chuckled.
"She's got a point," Regulus said. Angelina and Katie looked at the younger boy. "Hi, er, Regulus Black. I'm, unfortunately, Sirius' little brother."
"What's so unfortunate about that?" Sirius demanded.
"A lot," Remus replied. Sirius glared at him.
"I didn't know there was a younger Black," Katie spoke up.
"Hardly anyone does," Regulus said. "When your big brother is labeled a mass murderer they tend to forget you."
Katie and Angelina giggled. "I like him, he's funny," Angelina said. She moved her attention to two familiar, yet unfamiliar faces.
"You must be Harry's parents," Angelina said shaking their hands. "I went to school with you son. He's the best Seeker our team ever had."
"You failed to tell us you played Quidditch," James scolded.
"Sorry, I was bit preoccupied," Harry said with a shrug.
"And who's this?" Angelina asked indicating Mary.
"Mary MacDonald, friend of Lily's," Mary said shaking Angelina's hand.
"Fred…there's something I need to tell you," Katie said quietly while everyone else was talking.
"What is it?" Fred asked.
"I never got the chance to tell you before you died but…" Katie stopped unsure of how to tell him.
"What?" Fred asked. He couldn't imagine what Katie needed to tell him.
"Do you remember how sick I had been before we left for the battle?" Katie asked. Fred nodded.
"I wasn't sick," Katie said slowly. "Not really…it was morning sickness."
It took a moment for Fred to process what she had said.
"Pregnant, yes," Katie said. "I had no idea until later…"
"Wait…slow down…you were pregnant…during the battle at Hogwarts…" Fred said still trying to grasp what he was told.
"You have a daughter, Fred," Katie said.
That was how he had ended up on the floor with everyone looking at him. Of course the others had no idea why he had nearly fainted…well, Angelina looked like she did, but everyone else seemed stupefied by his actions. Okay, admittedly, Harry, Ron and Hermione didn't seem surprised either but seriously everyone else looked at him as though he were crazy.
"Fred, are you even listening?" Katie asked finally breaking through his daze.
"Sorry, I…I'm just trying to take this all in," Fred said in a rather small voice. Dora broke away from the others and knelt beside him.
"What's wrong, Fred? You feeling okay?" she asked.
"No but I'll be okay," Fred said. "What's her name?" He was looking directly at Katie.
"Giselle and yes, she is here. Teddy's one of her best friend's. She wouldn't miss his birthday for the world," Katie replied.
"Who's Giselle?" Dora asked. Fred shook his head. Dora frowned but said nothing.
"Thank you for telling me," Fred said.
"Maybe it's time for the next two," Hermione said. Angelina nodded and left the room. Katie kissed Fred's forehead.
"I'll see you in a bit love," she whispered following her friend out. Hermione followed them, shutting the door behind him. Ron walked over to his brother.
"She's coming in with Percy's wife next," he said. "You'll love her. She's exactly like you, it's kind of frightening."
Fred managed a chuckle as Ron helped him to his feet. His knees still felt weak but if he was going to meet his daughter next he wasn't going to be on the floor. Dora stood too watching him as though afraid he might fall over again. The door opened and in walked a woman with light brown hair.
"Well hello," she said in an American accent. "Look at all these people. Is there a reason you're hiding them all up here, Harry?"
"Why is there an American in my house?" Sirius blurted. Harry frowned.
"First of all, it's my house now. Second, there are quite a few Americans here so keep your mouth shut."
"Why does that man think this is his house?" the woman asked.
"Audrey, this is my godfather, Sirius Black," Harry said. "He used to own this house but as you know; when he died he left it to me."
"Before you ask, we have no idea why all these people are alive when they shouldn't be," Ron added.
"Okay, I'll go with it," Audrey said. Fred zoned out. Another girl had walked in. She was much younger with vibrant red hair and freckles on her cheeks and nose. Giselle, it had to be. She listened on to the introductions as Harry introduced the crew in the room. She didn't seem to believe nearly as fast as Audrey. Maybe Americans weren't as suspicious. Then again, they hadn't had any major wizarding wars since the 19th century. Giselle lost interest in Mary and Ted and looked around. Her eyes fell on Fred.
She looked away quickly, her cheeks reddening. She looked over at him almost immediately. Fred smiled encouragingly. She glanced at the others and walked over to him. She didn't say anything right away. She just stared. Fred said nothing. He didn't want to scare her off. After all, what do you tell your daughter when you hadn't seen each other in her entire life?
"I'm sorry," Giselle said. "I shouldn't be staring. It's just…you remind me of my Uncle George."
"I should hope so," Fred chuckled. "Identical twins should remind people of each other."
Giselle's eyes widened and she took a step back. Fred could have smacked himself. It was his natural way though, turning everything into a joke.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that…" he tried backtracking. He stopped though because Giselle had started laughing. "Uhh…"
"Sorry, I shouldn't have said something so stupid. Obviously you remind me of Uncle George. Who else would you be in a room full of not so dead people?" Giselle asked. She stepped toward him again. She gently touched his face. Fred placed his hand over hers.
"You just found out, didn't you?" Giselle asked. "I mean, Mum and Aunt Angelina just left so I assume Mum told you."
"Yes, she did," Fred replied. He cupped her cheek pulling her face up to look at him. He laughed. "It's ridiculous how much you look like me."
"I get that a lot," Giselle laughed. There was a pause when they barely registered that everyone else was quiet and therefore probably watching them. Then Giselle threw her arms around him and started to cry.
"I used to dream about you coming back. I never cried. I feel so stupid," She was laughing and crying all at once. He laughed and hugged her back trying to keep himself together and failing miserably.
"It's okay, it's not like I'm doing much better," he said in a thick voice. He had a daughter and she was all grown up. He looked over her shoulder. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Audrey were all grinning madly. The others looked utterly confused but that was okay. The two pulled apart.
"So, are you a Weasley or a Bell?" he asked. Giselle laughed.
"Neither actually, I'm a Peterson," she replied showing him the diamond on her left hand.
"You're married?" So he basically missed every important moment of her life except for her firstborn child.
"Yes, two years now," Giselle said. "My husband, Max, is downstairs with Theresa."
"Who's Theresa?" Fred asked.
"Oh, our daughter," Giselle replied. Ax that, he'd missed every important moment in life.
"I am too young for this," Fred groaned. Giselle laughed.
"Look at it this way," Harry said bracingly. "You're the same age as my parents and they have three grandkids in school already and your granddaughter is only sixteen months old."
"I realize that was meant to make him feel better but it definitely did not help my ego," James said.
"So that's why you nearly passed out," Dora said. "She's your daughter."
Fred nodded. "At least you knew you had a grown son when we got here. This was completely unexpected."
Audrey walked over to the father and daughter. She held her hand out.
"Audrey, I'm Percy's wife," she introduced.
"Percy married an American? How unlike him," Fred said shaking her hand. Giselle smacked his shoulder.
"Be nice, Dad," she said.
"The war changed him for the better," Audrey said. "When I first met him he needed a good slap. On the other hand he made a magnificent spy once he loosened up a bit."
"Percy was a spy?" Fred asked incredulously. Audrey grinned.
"He'd do anything for a pretty girl to notice him."
Fred couldn't help but laugh.
"Why don't we let Percy tell you himself? " Hermione asked. "Come on you two. Time to go."
"Do I have to Aunt Hermione?" Giselle asked clutching her father's arm as if she thought he'd vanish if she let go. Fred took her hands off of him and made her look at him.
"I'm not going anywhere," he promised. "As soon as everyone knows we're here we'll come down to the party. Why don't you go warn your husband and daughter that I'm here? Just them though, okay?"
Giselle sighed but nodded all the same. Fred kissed her forehead and let her go. She followed her aunt out the door, looking back to smile at him one last time. Two more people were led in. One was an older woman with black hair liberally streaked with grey and a younger man with the same dark hair. There was an audible gasp in the room.
"Savannah?" Lily and Mary said simultaneously. Savannah stopped in her tracks causing the man behind her to walk into her.
"Lily…Mary…?" Savannah gasped. "How…you should be dead!"
"Believe me," Mary said. "We know,"
There was a pause and then all three women flew into each other's arms and began to cry.
"I never thought I'd see you again!" Savannah blubbered.
"We didn't think we'd see anything again!" Mary sobbed.
"I'm so glad to see you!" Lily cried.
"Women," Ron muttered. After fifteen or so minutes the women finally broke apart. Their faces were shining with tears but they were no longer crying. Savannah smiled at James and threw herself into his arms.
"Oh James, I'll never say a cruel thing about you again as long you live," she said crying again.
"I wish I could say I believe you but I'll just say it's good to see you again too cuz," James chuckled hugging her tightly. "But I think somebody else wants to see you more than me."
He pulled away from her and turned her toward Sirius. He stood with his slightly hanging. Savannah turned very pale at the sight of him.
"I was told you were dead," Sirius said quietly. "Bellatrix said she killed you."
"She thought she had but I tricked her and then fled to the US with Patrick. The States cut off contact with the UK shortly after because they didn't want to be involved in a war. I didn't even know you were imprisoned until Pat was thirteen."
Sirius glanced at the man behind her. "Is that him?" he asked. Savannah smiled.
"Yes, come here Patrick. Quit hiding behind me like some sort of scared teenager."
Patrick stepped around Savannah and cautiously surveyed Sirius the same Sirius was surveying him. The two looked remarkably similar, much like Harry and James. Sirius smiled suddenly.
"I've never been happier that Bellatrix lied," he said. Patrick smiled. Savannah smacked his shoulder.
"What was that for, Mum?" he asked rubbing his shoulder.
"No wonder you came home with that smirk on your face," she snapped. "You knew your father was here, didn't you?"
"How could I not with the auror department in an uproar and me helping question?" Patrick said. "Are you going to freak out if I try to hug you dad?"
"Hell no, I thought you were dead too! Nearly killed me to think everyone was dead and Remus hated me. Give your old man...scratch that last. Come give your dad a hug."
Patrick didn't need any more encouragement as he launched himself at his father. Harry smiled softly.
"Oh, lighten up James, you knew those two were screwing around long before I agreed to date you," Lily said cutting through the moment. Father and son let go of each other to see James glaring at Sirius and Lily poking him in the ribs with her elbow.
"She's still my cousin," James pouted.
"And a grown woman who's twice your age now," Savannah pointed. "Come here you."
She pulled James into a tight hug. He was at least a head taller than her. "I still missed Lily more but it just wasn't the same without you, James."
"Gee, thanks for the love," James said sarcastically.
"Maybe you should have been nicer to your cousins," Savannah teased. The two parted. James shrugged.
"Maybe," he reluctantly consented. Savannah looked at Sirius.
"Do I get a hug?" she asked.
"Absolutely," Sirius said pulling into a hug with Patrick. "Look at us, one big happy family again. Of course, we're going to have to do something about your accent son."
Patrick rolled his eyes as everyone laughed. Savannah looked over Sirius' shoulder and pulled away.
"Regulus?" she said. Sirius and Patrick followed her gaze. Sirius smiled.
"Isn't it great? I get all my favorite family members back in one day! All I need to see is Annie and I'll be the happiest man on earth!"
Savannah smiled and rolled her eyes. "Didn't know your brother cared that much, Reg."
"Neither did I," Regulus said.
"And Remus, I saw you there, don't think I've forgotten you," Savannah said hugging the last of her childhood friends.
"It's good to see you Savvy," Remus said. "Do you remember Nymphadora?"
Dora smacked him. "Don't call me Nymphadora."
"Sirius' little cousin? Andromeda talks about you a lot. I think I helped babysit you a few times," she looked to Sirius for confirmation. He nodded, one arm still slung around his son's shoulder.
"I heard you married her," Savannah said with a wink.
"That he did," Ted said coming over to place an arm on his daughter's shoulder.
"Hey Ted," Savannah said. "I'm getting all teary-eyed again. Look what you've all done. You've turned me into a leaky faucet."
"No offense Mum, but ever since I grew up you've been prone to that. I think it might be old age," Patrick chuckled.
"Hush you," Savannah snapped playfully at her son.
"I guess that makes me the only one you don't know," Fred said. "I'm Fred Weasley, George's twin. It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too Fred. I've heard a lot about you," Savannah said with a smile. Soon everyone was back to talking, crying and hugging again as Savannah reconnected with her friends and Patrick got to know his father and cousins and uncle. At some point, Ron snuck out and came back. He cleared his throat.
"I know you're all happy to be reunited but we really should let others have a chance so we can get back to the party."
There was a collective sigh then Savannah gave all her friends one last hug. Patrick hugged his uncle and father before heading to the door. Savannah was about to leave when Sirius pulled her back and gave her a long kiss.
"See you in a bit, Savvy," he said giving her a wink. She blushed and hurriedly followed her laughing son out the door.
"The next couple of people are going to come in individually because it's going to be really hard on them," Harry said. He opened the door and stuck his head out.
"Okay, you can come in,"
A/N: What's this? Two post in one day? Don't think this going to continue to happen. I just happened to not be at work for once. Anyway, Savannah, Patrick, Giselle and Max are all my own characters. They show up in a lot of my stories if you aren't familiar with them. No, savannah and Sirius were never married because let's face it, I doubt Sirius could commit to something like that. Yes, they were very much in love and it didn't seem fair for Sirius not to be able to pass on his awesomeness when his friends did. Anyway, hope you enjoy!
