I was hovered over the most beautiful, innocent person in the world. Her wide blue eyes looked up at me, nothing in them. There couldn't be not after everything that had happen to her. I know it was disgusting, if anything, of me to yearn to see her eyes blood red. Monstrous even, but I wanted her by my side, so badly wanted her. And she had no idea what was happening now. But I'm sure in one of her visions, delusions they called them, she saw herself as one of us. Her icy gaze replace with the crimson red, her skin paler than it already was, her long, black, curly hair longer and fuller than it already was.

She had to of seen me coming. But she couldn't have seen anything that happened in between. It wasn't how her power worked, the one flaw. She couldn't have seen me falling for her, or my decision to leave my sister and the family behind me. I refused to let her be some pawn in Aro's master army, sure Jane might find me, but I'll be damned if they ever find my little witch fairy.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. I should tell you first how I came upon this beautiful creature, what Aro wanted me to do to her. Where she was and why, all the trouble I went through, being separated from my only friend.

You need to know how I, Alec Daniel Kendall of the Immortal Royal Family, renounced my alliance to the Volturi and fell in love with a mortal girl.

"The poor girl, she's very pretty."

"Yeah, too bad she's delusional," said one of the female body guards.

"What do you mean?" asked the nurse.

"She thinks she can see the future. When we were retrieving her stuff from her house, she was screaming at her parents that they were going to suffer, because they were sending her away. Then in the car, we had to gag her, poor thing. Sat there and told me and Dalton how we were going to get married, how many children we were going to have, and how we would eventually die."

"Wow, she's only thirteen, right?"

"Yep, and here for shock treatment and long term. Her parents don't even want to visit her. So that's no visitors at all. Unless someone magically turns up with a signed note from her parents."

"Harsh," said a patient walking by the room and looking in.

"Now Leo, that's rude. Would you like to speak with her?"

"You think I wanna hear how I'm gonna die? Please," Leo said quickly walking away.

"Leo!" the nurse said looking at his retreating back angrily.

"Nurse, can you please shut the door. I don't like being watched, it's too loud, and too bright. Thank you," the little girl said, quietly, still on the floor with her tiny arms around her legs, her face hidden by her hair.

"Sweetheart, why don't you sit on your bed, until it's time for dinner?"

"Please don't call me sweetheart," she said, implying the please.

"What was that sweetheart?"

"I SAID PLEASE, DAMN IT, LEAVE ME ALONE! GET OUT! STOP TALKING TO ME LIKE YOU KNOW ME! YOU DON'T KNOW ME, HELL, YOU DON'T KNOW ANYONE! YOUR NOT EVEN QUALIFIED TO DO THIS JOB! YOU THINK YOUR RIGHT IN HELPING OTHERS BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T SAVE YOUR BROTHER? GOING ON A BIT OF A HERO STREAK!" she exploded, and the nurse quickly ran out the room, shutting the door behind her.

She looked through the window in the door and saw the girl was now listening to music, but still perfectly still in her corner. Her long, black, curly hair hid her face from view. She was in blue jean cut offs, and a yellow hoodie with the sleeves raised to her elbows. The poor girl had porcelain skin, so pale you could see the veins in her arms.

"Poor girl," she said before walking away and worrying about the trouble this girl would bring. And how the hell she knew about her little brother.
