Travelling down a dirty road
Covered with moss
And see the grey stones
Green as luscious fields in sight
A dark moonlight night
When the past flashes by
Coming down from heaven like a falling star .
That you wish upon

Da'an was tired. . .

He was so tired. . .

He was tired of the deception. . .

Tired of the lies and the manipulations. . .

And like Liam he was tired of seeing innocent human beings being buried just as he was tired of seeing his fellow Taelons enter their death stasis.

Isn't it a struggle
To find a good friend?
Isn't it a struggle
To have to defend?
Isn't it a struggle
You have to take that chance to lend a hand
Well I'm travelling down a dirty road
Clearing up all that's known

Why had they allowed Zo'or to do things that were clearly against their own standards of living? The Taelon race had been committing atrocity after atrocity after atrocity for so long that they lost sight of what was right and wrong a some time ago.

Ma'el would be appalled if he could see what they'd become. . .

And Da'an was ashamed. . .

A misty occurrence happens all the time
Around every corner a brighter day lies
Loads of mercy, beauty beholds
An eye for a partner as good, as good as gold
Green as luscious fields in sight
A dark moonlight night
When the past flashes by
Coming down from heaven like a falling star
That you wish upon

Da'an was so tired. . .

But in the end, he knew he'd continue the struggle for the sake of the Taelon race, for the sake of the children he had who were yet waiting to be born, to enter the Commonality. He had no other choice.

Not if he and his race were to survive. . .

Waving off the human music he'd been playing on the datastream, Da'an laid back in his chair, allowing the energy stream to activate and nourish him. Tomorrow the struggle to find a balance between survival and morality would continue no matter how tired he was. . .
