W.I.T.C.H. Fan: Hey guys. So this is a little one-shot I decided to write for one of my best friends DW64. Hope you like it my friend.
Some Friendly Advice
Darren Watson stared at the ground as he sat on a park bench. He had just had a fight with his friend Alicia Ribery and was feeling really bad about it.
The boy looked up and gave a small sigh as he saw his friends Allen Walker and Yuuki Cross coming over to him.
Yuuki frowned when she saw the upset look on her friends face. "Is something bothering you Darren?"
"Yeah," he replied.
"You finally looked in the mirror this morning and saw your face right?" Allen asked with a smirk. The smirk disappeared when Darren punched him in the arm.
"Not funny idiot!" Darren growled.
His friend rubbed his arm. "Sheesh man I was just kidding. Lighten up a little would ya?"
"Can we save the bickering for later?" Yuuki asked as she sweatdropped. "Darren what's wrong?"
"I had a fight with Alicia and I feel bad about it."
"Why don't you eat some food?" Allen asked.
Yuuki shot him a look. "That only works for you, Allen."
Allen nodded. "True, very true."
"You know some good advice would help," Darren scowled.
"Why don't you give her some chocolate? That always makes a girl feel better," Yuuki grinned.
Darren smacked his forehead. "Seriously guys, I don't need advice involving what you two are obsessed with."
"DARREN!" Lenalee Lee screeched as she ran down the street to her friends.
"Oh no," Darren, Yuuki, and Allen all said slowly. Lenalee could be extremely emotional when there were problems with her friends and from the look on her face she'd heard about Darren and Alicia's fight.
"Here we go again," Allen muttered.
Lenalee sprang forward and grabbed Darren by the front of his shirt and proceeded to shake him. "Why did you fight with Alica? Do you want her to hate all of us forever and want to never see us again?" She cried, anime tears pouring down her face.
"That's not helping Lena," Yuuki said as Allen grimaced.
"Lena let go of me!" Darren cried, struggling to break out of her vice like grip.
After a few more minutes, the girl calmed down and let go of Darren. "Sorry Darren, got carried away there."
"No really?" Allen asked sarcastically.
BANG! POW! SMACK!
The food loving boy groaned as he lay on the ground, three goose eggs forming on his head thanks to his friends' punches.
"Now that he's out of the way we might get something done," Yuuki said.
"Well Lena do you have any advice to give me about Alicia?" Darren asked.
Lenalee put her finger to her chin and hmmmd in thought. "We could go and see Rukia. Maybe she can help us.
"Uh I'd rather not," Darren replied. "You know how she can get."
"It's the best option we have Darren because Yuuki and I aint' comin' up with squat," Lena said, putting her hands on her hips.
"Fine," the boy huffed. The girls smiled and the three began to walk away.
"Guys?" Allen said a few seconds later, as he got up. "Hey wait for me you guys!" He yelled running to catch up with them.
"I see," Rukia said, after having been explained the situation. "Something must be done about this, Darren." She quickly sat down at her desk and began to scribble on something.
"She's treating this as if it were a life and death situation," Lenalee said with a sweat drop.
"Well since Alica is probably ready to kill Darren I would say-okay sorry!" Allen quickly amended at the three glares he received.
Rukia turned back around to face her friends. "Something that could work would be giving her a gift symbolizing your friendship with her. Something like this," she said holding up a picture.
Darren's head dropped as Lena, Allen, and Yuuki struggled not to laugh at the utterly horrible picture of two stick figures holding hands that Rukia had drawn.
"I don't think that'll help," Darren said.
"Are you sure? I would think it would, considering how well done it is," she replied.
The struggle to not laugh became even harder for three certain people at this comment, fortunately one of them restrained himself from saying anything sarcastic.
Despite their attempts to not laugh, Rukia noticed their apparent amusement and frowned. "Why do you always find my art so funny?"
"…We have no good answer," Yuukia finally said.
Ruki crossed her arms and faced Darren. "If I can't help you then maybe you should go and find Nami. She should have some advice for you."
"Another fight with Alicia?" Nami asked several minutes later. "Sheesh Darren, you two fight like an old married couple."
Said boy flushed slightly and Allen and Lenalee snickered.
"Any advice Nami?" Yuuki asked.
Nami crossed her arms. "I would say get her some clothes or jewelry or something. Most girls like those kind of things."
"Wow you actually do know things about your native gender. Who knew? Yukki, Lena, you guys should keep teaching her," Allen said.
"Crap," Allen muttered.
"You're screwed," Darren said before quickly ducking out of the way.
"YOU SEXIST PIG!" Nami, Lena, and Yuuki shrieked lunging at Allen.
As the three girls beat up their friend Darren sighed. 'Why doesn't anybody have anything good to tell me?'
Deciding he needed to clear his head he began to walk through the city. After half an hour he sat down on some apartment steps. "I give up. There's no way I'm going to figure out what to do about Alicia!" he sighed.
"The Darren we know would never give up."
Darren looked up and saw his friends Tsuna and Haruhi.
"You shouldn't give up with trying to make things right with Alica," Tsuna said in a sage like way.
"I've been asking everyone for advice all day and none of it has been good advice," Darren said.
"Well I think we can be more helpful then Allen and Nami can be," Haruhi said with grin.
Alica narrowed her eyes when she opened her door and saw Darren standing out side.
"What do you want?" She asked.
The boy took a deep breath before following the advice of Haruhi and Tsuna. "Alica, I'm sorry. I was way out of line and I was just irritated this morning. I didn't mean what I said, honest. I can try to make it up to anyway I can if you will forgive me."
After a few long seconds, Alicia smiled and hugged Darren. "It's nice to hear you give a simple heartfelt apology for once. And let me tell you Darren, that works more on girls then giving us gifts."
Darren laughed. "Try telling that to Allen, Rukia, Lenalee, Yuukia, and Nami because they think otherwise.
"Speaking of Allen, he was supposed to come by earlier today. You haven't seen him have you?" Alicia asked.
"Let's just say that Allen will be lucky if he ever gets the chance to see another day after Nami, Lena, and Yuuki are done with him," Darren said with a snicker.
Alicia raised an eyebrow before she started laughing.
