Authors note: So, this is the first fanfic that i've written in more than 4 years and its the first one that I have posted here or anywhere else. I'm always open to any feedback, be it good or bad. Thanks for any reviews that you give. I watched Point Pleasant when it was first airing on tv and have recently rewatched the series thus leading to this and hopefully other small ficlets. Sorry for any errors.

His breath flew out in a huff as he sat bolt upright in his bed; out of breath without knowing why. Hurt. Pain. Hate.

He took a deep breath and eased it out in a hiss as he sorted Christina's emotions from his own. What the hell was that girl up to?

There was a flare of dark energy in the distance, in the direction of the Kramer's home. Boyd closed his eyes and cocked his head, as though listening to something that no one else could hear. "Hmm," he murmured. "Interesting."

Something had set Christina off and she was pissed. Boyd hummed as he slid out of bed and walked to the window to peer out at the darkened street. She was coming…

If this was teenage melodrama… He slipped back into his slacks and headed for the stairs. Considering the late hour she had better accept a shoeless and shirtless personal demon. Being the personal demon to the antichrist was certainly not a walk in the park. After unlocking the front door he headed for the wine cellar. This situation called for a nice cabernet sauvignon.

It took her 30 or so minutes to find her way from the Kramer's toward his house. He didn't look up from the fire in the hearth as she let herself into his home, dropping her bag by the door. She moved toward him without a word. Setting his glass down on the table, he reached out towards her.

She came to him. Head down, movements sluggish she took his hand and allowed him to pull her down on to the couch with him, curled in the circle of his arms. Christina sniffled, shifting against him as her tears dripped down against his shoulder. "Aw. What's wrong, Christina?" he purred. "What has that stupid mortal girl done to my antichrist?"

"Judy kicked me out, Lucas." Christina mumbled. "She didn't want me. They didn't want me. Just like daddy and everyone else." Boyd felt more tears fall. "Why don't they want me, Lucas?"

"Sshhh." He murmured, pressing his lips to her hair. "I want you, Chris. Your father wants you. You have a destiny to fulfill. You are already on the path towards it and I will stay with you through it all if that's what you want."

"Yes."
