Hello, again.
I'm back, finally back on this account after 2/3 years.
I couldn't wait to start Into The Heart Of Oblivion again after all this time, I really was psyched. Until I actually sat down and read it and I thought to myself, actually, this was terribly written. Honestly, my confidence in my writing abilities has plummeted over my absence. I've gone through a couple of horrible downfalls in regards to my mental health and whilst it is better now, I can't say for certain it will be in the future.
That being said, I do love this story and I love the characters, so I will be carrying it on.
But there's a catch. I found myself wading through the 6 chapters I'd written and I discovered many flaws, mostly to do with the plotline. It never followed the proper Dissidia plotline, nor of the Duodecim plotline but several people did question this so I felt I should answer.
It will not contain Shinryu because no matter how much I tried to wrap my head around him I simply couldn't find a place for him in this story. I don't know why I decided to add Vayne, Vincent or Boko. I don't think they will be in the rewrite either.
What I'm trying to say is I think I finally have a plausible, more smooth plotline in mind so, with regret, I will be rewriting the whole story. I can only hope my writing isn't as haphazard or tiresome to read as my old writing was.
I've decided to leave the Unlikely Warrior untouched as a reminder to myself as to why I should never write like that again.
I am so very sorry. I hope if there are readers out there still willing to read what I have to write, that you won't be dissapointed. I fear I may have left this too long.
Sorry again.
