A/N: Third and final choice in the poll.

My pride is something inconceivable. I can't help it. I was born sneering.

Reese ran a hand through her hair, letting the soft wind toss it around as she drove down the winding road. Normally she wouldn't drive with the top down at night, but tonight she needed all the air she could get. She wiped a bead of sweat from her forehead with the sleeve of her biker jacket. She pulled into a near-empty diner and parked a few spaces away from what had to be his Camaro.

"Get a grip, Reese." Chastising herself before taking a steady breath and getting out of the car.

"You're late."

"Sue me." She said as she turned to the blonde man approaching her.

"Feisty." He hissed with a grin.

"I didn't come here for this, Adam." She said.

"Then what did you come for?" He asked coyly. She stepped away from him and looked down.

"Look, I know you know what happened with Randy the other night. You know him better than anybody-"

"Where's this going, Reese?" Adam cut her off.

"He's gonna ruin my life, I know it." Her brown eyes filled with fear as she spoke the words.

"And you want me to stop him." Adam smirked as he leaned against his car, knowing the almighty Reese Welker had to ask someone for something.

"…You're the only one crazy enough to do it."

"I'll take that as a compliment." He said in a warning tone.

"Will you help me or not?" She snapped.

"And just what do I get outta this 'act of chivalry'?" Adam folded his arms and tilted his head.

"What do you want?" She eyed him nervously. He smiled as he pushed himself off his car and inched his way over to her.

"Just your sweet graces." He answered, stroking her chin.

"What?" Her eyes widened as she looked up at him.

"For the next, I don't know, six months. You'll be mine to use anytime of the day or night."

"You're out of your mind." She said through clenched teeth.

"Or you can deal with a psycho all by yourself." Adam shrugged. She glared at him for a minute, weighing which was the lesser evil.

"...I don't care how you do it, get rid of him." She said none too proudly.

"You're my property for the next six months, it's not negotiable. You realize this right?" He asked.

"Just…get rid of him." She held a hand up and repeated.

"Consider it done. See you soon, toots." He assured cockily before they went their seperate ways. Reese got in her car and sat motionless. She had no idea what she'd just gotten herself into.
