AN: Wow, another short oneshot, only this time it's about Luke and Thalia. Slight hints of Thuke. May be OOC.

Disclaimer: I don't own Disney, or the phrase Hakuna Matata.

"Luke," a girl with dirty shoulder length black hair and electric blue eyes said quietly, worry evident in her voice. "We have no food left, again. How are we going to take care of Annabeth?" She glanced at the plucky seven year-old that was sleepy soundly on an old blanket.

"We'll make do, Thals." the boy called "Luke" reassured. He was a handsome boy with shaggy blonde hair and mischievous blue eyes.

"That's what you say every time, Luke." the girl called "Thals" snapped. "I'm not worried about us; we can survive. Who I'm worried about is Annabeth. She's just a kid, for the gods' sake!" she cried.

"Thalia, we'll find something." Luke reassured. "We'll be fine. We always are."

Thalia sighed at her friend, once again glancing at the girl who she considered her little sister. "I know we do, Castellan, but that was before we found Annabeth." It was true; the two had been a duo until they met Annabeth, also a runaway, in an alley in Virginia.

"Don't worry about it, Thals." he said, a smile on his face. "Just trust me."

She glared at him angrily. "That's what you've said for the last three days, Luke! How can I not worry? We're runaways; none of us have homes any more! Monsters are chasing after us, and I hate to say it, but Annabeth is slowing us down!" Thalia sighed in defeat. "She's just a little kid. She shouldn't have to go through this."

"No one should, Thals." Luke said gently, rubbing her back. "You've got to remember, we're just kids too."

"Maybe that's my point," she said miserably. "We can't do this alone. We can't raise Annabeth for the rest of her life, and she can't live on the streets her entire life. I won't let that happen."

"It won't happen." he promised. "We'll make sure of that. Right now, just don't worry. Hakuna matata."

She raised a wary eyebrow. "Isn't that from a Disney movie?"

Luke smiled mischievously, nodding. "You know it is, Thalia."

She shook her head, laughing quietly. "Hakuna matata, Luke."

"Hakuna matata."
