The night was still, quiet and serene. The full moon reflected it's light on the soft, calm pond. There was a marble bench situated by the side of the waters edge, lying right next to a trickling fountain. On the bench sat a hero, the son of a god, and his love.

Through the darkness of the night, all that could be heard was the whispering of the couple.

"You look beautiful," The hero, Hercules, whispered with a smile and Megara, Meg, rolled her eyes.

"I swear you tell me that everyday," Meg half complained.

"Well you look beautiful, everyday." Hercules put emphasis on the last word and he had a smirk across his face.

"Wonderful," Meg said and Hercules grabbed her hand and kissed it gently.

"Tonight's perfect," Hercules commented as he over the scene.

"It's almost romantic," She said sarcastically.

"Same old smart mouth," Hercules smiled at her.

"Complaining, Wonder Boy?" Meg asked with raised eyebrows.

"No, I love it," He assured her.

"Good."

The couple was quiet for a while, merely letting the sounds of the night. During their conversation, a flock of ducks, and a swan or two had entered the pond that they sat situated by. Though Meg thought it slightly cheesy, she also felt it a bit romantic.

The way the moon shown down on the lake, the fountain behind them, the pure white swan gliding across the lake.

"This isn't so bad after all," Meg murmured, and Hercules kissed the side of her head.

"I told you you'd love it." Hercules said, and Meg just gave him a little half smile.

"It is pretty," Meg nodded, and she then gently kissed Hercules. "Thank you."

"Uh-huh," Hercules murmured and then he kissed her again. "I love you."

"I love you, too, Wonder Boy"
