Caroline twirled a lock of her thin blonde hair as she starred blankly at the black TV in her bedroom. She turned her head to the left and eyed the picture of Matt resting on her night stand. Caroline sighed when she stood up, grabbed the picture frame, and threw it at the wall. Her sudden outburst took place because she caught Matt cheating on her in the stall bathroom of the grill.

The doorbell rang.

Caroline rushed out of her bedroom, into the hall, and to the entrance. She opened the door and once she did, she regreted it deeply. "What do you want?" She asked blankly.

Tyler sighed deeply. "Can I come in?" He asked softly.

She opened the door widder as she turned around and swiftly sat on the couch.

He walked inside and sat down next to her.

"When'd you get back?" She questioned, almost souding interested.

"A few hours ago. I would have come to see you sooner but my mother practically trapped me in the house.."

Her facial expression softened. "How is ?"

"She's better. But ever since dad died, she locks herself in her room everynight and cries herself to sleep."

Caroline licked her dry lips. "That's awful.. Why did you leave Tyler?"

He knew that question would hit him eventually. He just didn't know what to say when it came. He cleared his throat.
"I knew it'd be best for you and everyone if I just got out of town for awhile."

"Even though I almost died and you did nothing about it, it doesn't mean that I don't want you around.."

"Well I figured Matt would keep you busy.." He said dryly.

Caroline laughed. "Ha, no, Matt was too busy making out with some cheap slut."

Tyler locked his brown eyes with her blue ones. "I'm sorry." He apoligized genuinley.

She shrugged. "I had a feeling it would happen eventually..I'm over it."

Tyler sat their silently.

"So, any girls in your life?" She asked forming a curve at her pink lips.

Tyler shook his head. "No. I'm still in-love with this perky blonde."

Caroline looked into his eyes as her smile dissappeared. "I'm sure she's in-love with you too..."

"I never stopped thinking bout you Caroline. Ever since the night that we kissed, you're name is like a broken record in my head."

Caroline interrupted his confession as she crashed her lips into his.
