Soft Sobs Echoing Through the Night
(This week's episode was so flippin sad! I almost started to cry! So I decided to write a story. This is what I think should have happened when Hanna's mom heard Hanna crying in the bathroom)
Hanna Marin was planning to take a bath, she honestly was, eventually.
Hanna was currently sitting on the side of the bathtub, sobbing her eyes out. Caleb had been spying on her, for money! Jenna was paying him. But Hanna didn't care about Jenna anymore; Jenna had gotten what she deserved.
She knew her knew she was crying. How could she not? Hanna's laments could most likely be heard from across the street, maybe even across the town.
Hanna heard the doorbell ring downstairs. She didn't know who it was, but she figured she should calm herself in case it was the police of something.
"Hanna?" Ashley Marin's voice rang throughout the house
Hanna didn't respond. She couldn't find her voice. She knew that if she could, she wouldn't be able to reply anyway.
She waited a few more minutes. She heard her mom talking to someone, but she couldn't make out who. Hanna prayed to God that it wasn't the police.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"Y-yes?" Hanna's voice cracked, but she hoped they didn't notice
"Can we talk?" Hanna knew that voice. She grew to love it, but right now, she absolutely hated it.
Hanna wiped her tears from her face and looked in the mirror. She looked like she had been crying but he needed to see what he had done to her.
Hanna approached the door slowly. She opened it slowly and saw Caleb's face. It looked sad, depressed almost.
"Please talk to me?" Caleb begged
"Why should I?" Hanna hissed
"Hanna, I heard about what you did to Jenna-"
"Oh, you're here to defend your boss" She growled
"Hanna, I told her that I never wanted to speak to her again. She told me about what happened, and expected me to get mad at you. I told her she should leave you alone. Hanna, why do you think I told her to leave me alone?"
"Because you knew you were eventually gonna get caught and then you would be without a home" Hanna sneered
"No, I told her to leave me alone because I was falling in love with you" Caleb said softly
"W-what?" Hanna's tears had returned
"Hanna, I did start this out because of money, but now, I can't get my mind off of you! I know you will most likely never trust me again, but you needed to know" Caleb looked her deep in the eyes "I'll just leave now; I promise I'll leave you alone from now on. Good-bye Hanna" He turned around and Hanna's anger seemed to fade away.
"Caleb, wait" Hanna said quickly
Caleb turned and looked at her, shocked. "You don't need to say anything"
"But I do" Hanna walked up to him "Jenna's a bitch, I know that. I know you needed the money. I will never completely forgive you, but I do forgive you enough to give us another try" Hanna said
"Hanna, you're just saying that because of my condition, we both know you don't forgive…" Caleb trailed off
"Not completely" Hanna repeated "But right now, I need someone to help me through everything" Hanna heard her voice break once again. She could feel the tears building up in her system. She looked up at Caleb and she saw concern and worry in his eyes.
Hanna flung herself into his arms and started to sob on his shoulder. Caleb didn't know what to do, so he just rubbed her back soothingly.
"Spencer says that we could be next. Me, Emily, and Aria, we could have the police roam our rooms next. Caleb, I'm scared." Hanna cried
"Shhh, it's fine, you're okay" Caleb comforted.
(Hope you liked it! I just love Hanna and Caleb! I didn't want them to break up!)
