Disclaimer: I don't own PJO or the quotes.

AN: I just don't care. I'm letting math go undone 4 right now. And Latin. And English. But I did my Social Studies, so it all balances out. Or not. Oh well, I don't really care.

"Hey Rachel," Annabeth said dejectedly as she watched the Oracle paint, "Is it better to have to stay away from men?"

The Oracle paused. "I don't know," she said finally.

"Do you think Thalia would know?"

"Know what?" a familiar voice asked.

"Thalia!" Annabeth squealed, launching herself at her friend.

"So what's up?" Thalia asked after Annabeth calmed down.

"Percy's dating a girl named Lily," Rachel answered.

"The hardest thing to do is watch the one you love, love someone else," came a voice from the doorway.

Annabeth wheeled around. "What are you doing here?" she asked venomously.

"Just giving some advice to my best friend," Percy flopped into a chair. "Lily broke up with me. She's moved on. Anyway, for some reason I don't even care."

Annabeth's eyes filled with hope. "Why not?" she asked.

"Beca-" Percy started.

"Percy, will you take me back!" Lily ran dramatically into the hut.

"If you love me, let you know. If not, please gently let me go."

"Quoting much?" Annabeth smirked.

"I had to learn them for class," Percy sighed.

"Can we get this conversation back to me?" Lily asked, putting her hands on her hips.

"The sweeter the apple, the blacker the core. Scratch a lover and find a foe." Annabeth said, "Take that into consideration."

"What?" Lily asked.

"Lily, I'm not taking you back. Goodbye," With that Percy stood up and strode out of the hut.

What will happen now, with Percy and Lily broken up. Most of the quotes were Percy, but Annabeth had one in there.

The sweeter the apple, the blacker the core. Scratch a lover and find a foe.
