~Chapter 1~

My eyes slowly opened. I looked to the right of me and all I saw was a woman and a man I have never seen in my life. I began to have a scared feeling inside me.

"Who are you people?" I said as I jerked up in bed.

"My name is Derek and this is my wife, Tiffany."

"We're so glad you're awake. You've been out could for days." The lady said with tears coming down her face.

Now I was really scared. Who are these people? Where am I? But the question that surprised me was, who am I? I didn't realize I said this out loud until they exchanged weird faces.

You would never think that someone could forget who they were, but that happened to me. I tried to remember who I was, where I lived, who my parents were but nothing. After I've had enough, I got out of the bed and ran but fell.

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?"

"That's it! Who are you people and where am I?"

"For the second time, I'm Tiffany and this is Derek and you're in the small town of Bakersville. Population: 343."

I didn't care about the population. All I wanted was to get home. But there was just one problem, I didn't remember anything! Maybe they knew who I was so I asked but sure enough they didn't know who I was. The only thing they knew about me was they found me on the street. Apparently I wasn't walking, I was lying down.

"We thought you were dead," Derek said, "but of course, Tiffany has to help like always."

What could have happened to me? Again, I tried remembering but nothing. Amnesia was doing this to me.

After a long period of time, Tiffany and Derek left the room. I was alone now. I searched the small room, knocking over pictures and books, in hopes that I could find something that would help me figure out who I was. It turned out the room contained nothing but junk.

Out of curiosity I walked out of the room and explored the house. Everything seemed different. Everything in that house was new to me. And I mean everything.

I found the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I didn't even recognize myself. I've heard of amnesia but I never heard it could be this bad.

Outside I hear Tiffany and Derek talking. Derek was yelling and Tiffany was staying calm. He was yelling at Tiffany for bringing me into this house but Tiffany was telling him to stay calm. I decided to ask why he didn't want me here.

"Because! It is complicated!" Derek yelled.

He walked to his room angrily.

"If you don't want me here, I will just stay somewhere else."

"No it's fine. Derek is just really tired today." Tiffany said looking stressed out, "Just go to bed."

I walked back to the room where I first woke up and slowly fell asleep.
