See Me

"Sure thing Ms. Cassidy. Why don't you remove your clothing and any jewelry that may be in the way." Edward turned, drawing the curtain to give me privacy. I hurriedly removed everything, leaving my thong on as I laid face down.

What is a good looking man doing at place like this? He should be a Calvin Klein model.

"Ms. Cassidy, I want you to take a deep breath and relax. I'll take care of you. Any trouble spots you want me to concentrate on?"

"My neck, shoulders and lower back are killing me."

He covered my body from the waist down with a fitted sheet before applying oil on my back. His warm and soft hands began with light strokes at the base of my neck before they glided on either side of my spine, applying gentle pressure. He rubbed up and down the length and sides of my back. I could feel myself relax at the soothing touch of his hands.

This is heaven, a place where I don't have to hide, I can just be myself and no pressure to act a certain way. Tears started to make their way down my cheeks as my emotions start to spill.

"Ms. Cassidy, is everything alright?

"Yes." I croak.

"Care to talk about it? People say I'm a good listener." The kindness in his voice allowed me to blurt my feelings out.

"I'm tired of being followed. I don't have a life anymore. I constantly have to hide if I want to do something for myself." I sniffed.

"Why's that?"

"You don't recognize me?" I asked, slightly perturbed.

"Um….maybe if I could see." he said as his hands continued to deftly knead my back.

"What do you mean if you could see?" I asked while I turned around to look at him.

"I am blind as a bat… If you'll let me touch your face, I can see you that way." He looked straight ahead, a smile on his face.

His hands spoke volumes as they ghosted across my body. It felt like he knew me, like he could read my mind and see my soul and knew who I was. It was by far the most intense interaction I'd had with anyone since my career rocketed to stardom. My body reacted to his touch, arching where his hand would take me.

"Ms. Cassidy…."

"Call me Bella." My voice grew ragged. I wanted him right then and there. What came over me? For god sakes, the man is blind and he had no idea who I was. I am Isabella Swan, the actress not Ms. Cassidy!

"Edward, do you want to see me?" I asked, not certain what possessed me to say it out loud. Maybe I craved for simplicity, to be seen for who I really am.

"Yes Bella, but is this what you really want?" His eyes crinkled on the sides as his hands made their way to my thighs, squeezing…jolting me alive.
