Hi, everyone! This is my first Klaine fanfic - let's see if I write more Klaine stuff, I usually only draw it.
I do not own Glee or any of its characters. I just love them. T his is for Meru on Tumblr. :)

"Do you believe in angels?"

Kurt looked up from his his history essay and turned his head with furrowed brows towards Blaine, shooting him a questioning look.

"What do you think about angels?" Blaine asked now, tightly hugging one of the white fluffy pillows on Kurt's bed. He sat upright against the headboard, legs crossed and a curious look in his eyes.

"I don't believe in god." Kurt simply said and turned back on his homework.

"That hadn't been my question." Blaine stated, obviously not seeing any relation between the believe in god and the believe in angels. He adjusted his position a bit and started to play with the edges of the pillow in his arms waiting for Kurt's reply.

Kurt didn't bother to stop writing when he answered.

"Aren't angels created by god or something? Isn't that written in the bible?"

"Yeah, but angels don't only appear in the Christianity…"

"Oh, really?" Kurt read a paragraph in his textbook and took down some notes. He didn't know why Blaine was talking about all this.

"Yes. The Assyro-Babylonian and some Polytheism religions believe in angelic beings, too…" Blaine watched Kurt nodding on this and he continued to toy with the shaft of a little feather poking out of the pillow.

"What do you think they look like?" He asked then.

"Well, as I said - or at least meant to say - I don't believe in angels."

Blaine nodded, bid his lower lip and pilled the soft feather out of the pillowcase. He moved it around between his fingers, staring at it, his thoughts somewhere else… From time to time his gaze would wander to Kurt who had almost finished his essay.

Kurt tried to concentrate on his last sentences, but then he could see Blaine raise his arm pointing towards Kurt. He turned around with an raised brow.

"What are you doing?"

Blaine let his arm drop, the feather he had hold up while looking at Kurt still between his fingers.

"N-nothing…" Blaine stuttered, eyes down and his cheeks reddening.

Kurt sighed and looked at his book and then at Blaine. With a smile he stood up and walked over to his bed and sat down next to his boyfriend.

"Why did you ask?"

Blaine looked at him with an uncertain expression.

"What do you think they look like?" Kurt asked this time and dropped his head on Blaine's shoulder, watching him playing with the little feather again.

"Well, they are like really beautiful humans, but with wonderful white wings on their back." Blaine said with a smile on his face.

"I take it you believe in angels then." Kurt said humorously.

"Of course I do!"

Kurt quickly raised his head and gave Blaine an disbelieving look.

"How - I mean - you… Why? Have you ever… seen one?"

"Yes." Blaine said and smiled at him.

"Are you serious?" Kurt asked, now both brows raised. Blaine kept smiling and nodded. "When?"

"The first time a few months ago. But back then I didn't realize what I had seen. The angel appeared again. And two weeks ago I finally discovered his wings."

"You've got to be kidding." Kurt gave him a suspicious look, but Blaine simply gave him a chaste kiss on his nose.

"No. I'm not. Certainly not." He let the feather stroke over Kurt's reddening cheek and kissed him again, this time on his lips.

"You're stupid." Kurt said and smiled into the kiss.

"Maybe. But you should really stop to put the feathers you're loosing into your pillows…" Blaine whispered. He let the feather drop from his hand to cup Kurt's face and deepened the kiss while pushing Kurt down into the pillows.

"I love you."
