Do you know what's worth fighting for?

Sakura didn't know anymore. She didn't know anything.

When it's not worth dying for?

So many had died in the great war. There were countless graves covering the outside hills of Konoha. Countless ninja that had given their lives for Konoha.

Does it take your breath away...

She choked back a sob. Among those were Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi.

And you feel yourself suffocating?

As the pink-haired ninja knelt down by her teammate's graves, she felt the familiar wave of guilt and anguish that hit her every second of every day wash over her.

Does the pain weigh out the pride? And you look for a place to hide?

She always expected to be the first one to die. She was the weakest out of everyone.

Did someone break your heart inside?

Sasuke. He had died saving her... it broke her heart everytime she remembered that the first time he saved her, was the last time she'd ever see him.

You're in ruins.

All she had done since their funerals was sit by their graves and cry. She missed them all so much it hurt.

One.

She didn't even get to say goodbye...

21 guns... Lay down your arms, give up the fight.

Somewhere above, rain began to fall, but she didn't even open her eyes.

One, 21 guns
Throw up your arms into the sky, you and I...

The cold rain drenched her within seconds, cutting down to her soul.

When you're at the end of the road, And you lost all sense of control..

Her small body hit the ground, barely making a sound. She was ready.

And your thoughts have taken their toll
When your mind breaks the spirit of your soul

Sakura couldn't deal with this anymore. She didn't have any fight left in her. Without her team, the last of her family... What was she?

When it's time to live and let die,

Darkness began to take her, and she gratefully accepted it.

And you can't get another try.

Sakura could see the forms of her teammates just at the end of her black path. She would be with them again... She began to run, Faster and faster.

Something inside this heart has died.

Her team embraced her all at once, and she began to sob, every tear one of happiness and relief.

You're in ruins...

Not anymore.

She was home.

Hours later, an Anbu team found Sakura's body, cold and unmoving. They fetched Tsunade. The older woman knelt down next to her former student, brushing the light pink hair out away from her soft face.

Tsunade felt a tear drip down her cheek when she saw the small smile on Sakura's lips. She was where she needed to be, with the rest of her team. Safe.

"Bury her here, next to them" Tsnuade said to the Anbu waiting behind her. She kissed her student's forehead for the last time, then left the site without another look.

Only once she was in her office did the Hokage let herself cry for Team Seven.

Do you know what's worth fighting for?

What's not worth dying for?

Does it take your breath away, and you feel yourself suffocating?

One.

Twenty-one guns, lay down your arms, and give up the fight.

You're in ruins...
