It was a quiet day at the park. Harry Potter smiled to himself as he watched his children run around, playing, laughing, and squealing in delight. He took a particular interest in watching his daughter, Lily, who had started her third year at Hogwarts. She had started talking to a boy who looked vaguely familiar, with bleach blonde hair and cold eyes.
"Potter," Draco Malfoy smirked as he walked up to Harry and sat on the bench next to him, sitting an audible distance away. "Long time, no see."
It took all of Harry's strength to not say 'what do you want Malfoy?' like old times. "Mr. Malfoy, I see you're doing well."
"No need to be so formal Potter. Is that your daughter my son's talking to?" Draco pointed to the two kids who had begun holding hands.
"Yes it is." Harry raised an eyebrow. He knew that the boy looked familiar, he was Malfoy's son.
"He's been righting to me, Scorpius has, about a certain Hogwarts student that has caught his eye. Never said her name though."
That was convincing enough for Harry. So it was Scorpius Malfoy that Lily had been sending private messages to Ginny about. He caught a glimpse of a letter one time reading, "Just don't hate me if you ever meet him"
Draco interrupted Harry's thoughts, "Ha, do you realize that if our kids get married, that makes us related."
Oh god, thought Harry, me related to Malfoy? Well, he doesn't seem like such a git now… Harry's thoughts were interrupted when he saw Lily and Scorpius kissing. "Lily Luna Potter, what in bloody blazes do you think you're doing?"
Lily and Scorpius broke apart; Scorpius' cold eyes met Draco's. Lily's face turned a deep scarlet, a trait she inherited from her mother.
If Lily and Scorpious were going to be together, life for the Potters, and Malfoys was to become very interesting. Harry could only imagine what the wedding day would be like.
