Hey Hi! Kins once again in your house, with another Sakura Schools fic. This is completely unrelated to the real Sakura Schools series, just what the United By Fate storyline would be like if it were the Sakura Schools characters. This is based upon the UDON comics, so read that for a better understanding of where I'm coming from.
Anyway, on with the show! Read, Review and Enjoy!
Sakura Schools! United by Fate!
Taiyo High School
Chatter was going around the crowded locker area of school. Recess had just finished now all the students were changing their shoes, getting their things ready for third period. Most people were talking about the new student, who himself was roaming the lockers like a headless chicken. He got odd stares from quite a few people, but he ignored them, only one thing on his mind...
'Now that my mom's gone,' he thought. 'who will cook me dinner?' He suddenly looked glum. No-one could compare to his mom's cooking. Now he'd have to eat another microwave meal that night. He sighed. He needed to find his parent today. And quick.
One girl in particular noticed the new boy and his glum face. Her 'friends' noticed her noticing and sighed. "You want to go after the new boy, don't you?" said one of them with short hair. "There's only three minutes until next lesson. You'll be late."
"And?" the girl said, her voice whiny. "I'll just go introduce myself."
She skipped off to the new boy, ramming into him. He yelped in surprise. "Heck?" he spun around to see the girl. "Who the hell are you? Some Sakura wannabe?"
"Almost!" The girl spun around anime style, then gave a very anime pose; fist on hip with the other in the air. "I'm Wannabe! Sakura's number one fan! What's your name?"
"B-Batsu..." Batsu murmured, taken aback by the little display of anime girl.
"Nice to meet you!" Wannabe cheered, steering her face right in front of his. "You look lost. Where are you supposed to be?"
"Uh... gym class?" Batsu answered, not sure.
"GYM?" Wannabe cried. "That's all the way on the other side of school! We'd better hurry!" Grabbing hold of Batsu's hand, Wannabe dashed off. Neither of them noticed that they were being watched though. By the coolest eyes in the school.
Sprinting at full speed, Wannabe turned to Batsu, panting slightly. "You know..." she said, taking a large breath, then stopping. Batsu stopped too and turned around. "There have... there have been... kidnappings... and schools... have been... been fighting..." Wannabe stopped talking, just taking large breaths. Batsu waited. Once Wannabe had gotten most of her breath back, she looked up at Batsu. "There have been kidnappings in lots of schools around this area of Japan. Lots of schools have been fighting because of it. I don't want to scare you or anything, but being around here is pretty dangerous right now."
"I know." Batsu said. "I came here because my mom has been kidnapped too. I need to find her, and soon. I'm getting tired of these microwave meals every night!"
"Your mom?" Wannabe gasped. "How terrible!"
"Yes, I know. She made the best food, and now someone has taken that away from me. I guess that's why she was a lunch lady in this school."
"Oh, her! I swear that The Inspector was working on that case or something..."
"Yeah, he's the coolest and smartest boy in school. He is awesome at everything really. All girls want him and all boys want to be him."
"Hmm." Batsu smirked. "Well, I bet he's jealous of me. I seem to be the talk of the whole school right now!" He laughed, then continued running, Wannabe quickly catching up. "I'm sure he'll be of good use though. I'll track him after gym class." Batsu laughed some more. "Get it. Track? Gym class?" Wannabe stared blankly at him. "Oh forget it."
The two ran inside the large gym building to see a class of young boys lined up, the big P.E teacher in red taking the register. All eyes looked up at the two and their loud arrival. Batsu looked around. All the boys were in uniform, while he was still in blue. "Uh..." he began. "Sorry I'm late?" He smiled weakly.
The P.E teacher tutted. "All late comers to this gym class," he said. "have to be punished." He looked over at the double doors at the far end of the building. The fire exit. "SAKURA!" the teacher shouted.
"Oh yay!" Wannabe cheered.
The doors swung open and a school girl ran in, her arms flailing behind her as she skidded to a stop. She turned to Batsu. "Oh, you're the new boy! I'm Sakura Kay!" Sakura held out her hand which was covered in a red sparring glove.
"I know you Sakura." Batsu said, slapping her hand away. Sakura looked surprised, but shrugged. "My name is Batsu."
"Oh, the Main Cat of this whole story?" Sakura said. "I'm sorry to do this to a newbie, but this is my job." Sakura offered a swift kick to Batsu's head, knocking him to the ground. Batsu quickly got up, holding his head.
"So that's how you wanna play, huh?"
Sakura nodded and Batsu launched a punch for her face. Sakura blocked it, keeping her guard up when Batsu shot out a kick for her neck. "Tardy counter!" Sakura exclaimed, driving a foot into Batsu's stomach. He was sent flying, but flipped upright. A safe fall.
Sakura ran after him, performing a flying kick, but Batsu ditched out of the way. This left Sakura open for a second, Batsu taking that chance. He dived in with a heavy punch, however, Sakura made a skilful ditch 'n' spin around him. Not wasting another second, Sakura stretched out her leg in a high kick, sending him soaring in the air. A rival launcher. Sakura jumped up, hitting him with a kick, a punch then a Shunpuu Kyaku. Batsu grunted in pain, crashing to the floor while Sakura landed comfortably. Yet Batsu still struggled up, shocking everyone watching.
"You just don't stay down, do you?" Sakura grinned. "It's been a while since I had a good fight!" Batsu coughed, then charged at Sakura. He leaped in the air, charging back a kick.
"Crescent Star Kick!" Batsu shouted, bringing down the kick in a large swing. It hit Sakura right in the chest. She yelped in pain, stumbling back. Batsu didn't stop there, as he charged into her, his shoulder cracking against the spot where his kick connected.
Sakura was pushed off her feet, barely managing a safe fall. She grunted, looking up at Batsu. "What's wrong?" he said. "Too much for you?"
Sakura spread her legs out a wide distance from each other, bringing back her hands to her side. A small blue spark started up in the space between her hands, growing bigger every second. All the on lookers and Batsu watched Sakura with surprise. Was she...?
"Super..." Sakura started, her blue Hadoken getting bigger in her hands.
"Stop!" She was interrupted by a smooth voice from above. Everyone looked up. A dark figure was standing on a wooden railing on the ceiling. Sakura immediately realized who it was, and put away her Hadoken. Batsu had to squint to see who it was, but even still he didn't know the boy. The figure then jumped down in between Sakura and Batsu. He had orange hair, silver lensed specs, and was all in white apart from his black sweater underneath his jacket. He was looking down on Sakura. "You know better to use Burning Vigor attacks inside."
Sakura stared timidly at her feet. "Sorry Inspector..."
"That's goes for you too Batsu." The Inspector turned to Batsu.
"That's why you interrupt our fight?" Batsu huffed. "I would have just dodged it anyway." Sakura glared at him.
"Wanna bet?" she said. Inspector held her back though.
"I think Batsu here needs to learn a little lesson on teamwork, Sakura." Inspector said. Sakura got what he meant, and grinned evilly. "You are a great fighter Batsu, that is something I cannot deny. But the key to victory isn't your strength alone. Remember your allies, Batsu, because teamwork holds the trophy of victory!"
Batsu looked blankly at The Inspector. "So... where is this trophy exactly?"
"Right here!" Sakura exclaimed, charging at Batsu with Inspector by her side.
"Last Symphony!" Both Sakura and Inspector shouted, pleating Batsu with an uncountable amount of kicks, high and low. Sakura then kicked him into the air, Inspector sending him crashing back down to the ground with a flip kick to the chest. Batsu bounced on the hard floor, settling down quickly. He groaned loudly. One of his eyes flickered open to see Sakura, Inspector and Wannabe all standing around him. Inspector offered him a hand which Batsu took gratefully.
"Welcome to Taiyo." Inspector said. Both boys grinned.
Gedo High School
"Look! A girl!" shouted one of the boy punks. The female all in black with a black helmet on her head looked up. "Sorry little girl, but this is a man's school! You wouldn't find any dollies here!" A crowd of boys laughed. The girl walked up to the boy.
"I'm looking for someone." she said, her voice strangely deep.
"Like I said, no dollies here!" His laugh was cut off by a gloved fist to the face by the girl. The crowd were shocked, then started moving in towards her.
"You little..." one of them grunted, lunging at her. She kicked him away without a second thought, like he was a piece of rubbish. The more boys that came to attack the girl, the more that started to pile up behind her.
"Hey!" a shout was heard. Everyone stopped and looked to see a blonde boy with his hair spiked up, held in a purple headband. The girl flipped a boy who was running at her over her, then looked back up at the blonde. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Edge." she said. "Shut up and listen to me. We have to find my brother. He's gone missing."
