Hello again! I just wanted to let everyone know that 5 of the 31 battle spots have already been filled, can you believe that? 5! Well I have just decided on what position each pair battling will be in. If anyone has questions, feel free to ask, I have decided to make about 2 battles a chapter so it will go quicker. Well here is the line up so far, battles will be determined by this chart below.
2. Hokushi Ihrono vs. Livvy Vega Field: River 3 v 3
5. Avery Wilson vs. Jason Night Field: Lake 4 v 4
9. John Taylor vs. Derek Anderson Field: Swamp 4 v 4
And if anyone was wondering, here are the descriptions for all battle types
Lake: Large open water with islands for a bit of balance, difficult for fire types.
Swamp: Muddy water with patches of very moist grass. Small trees and vines run across. Certain area of the field sink if stood on too long or if pokemon is too heavy. Easy for flying types, difficult for rock types
Volcanic: Small river of fire runs through hot rock and burning vegetation. Easy for flying, fire, volcanic, and rock types. Gives special boost to volcanic types. Extremely difficult for water types.
River: Open grass field with trees, bushes, and vegetation. Has a small rocky mountain with a river that runs down it and through the entire field.
Mountainous: Large rocky field, lose boulders hang around in secret. Large vibrations cause a rock slide, damages both pokemon if they do not have the time to dodge the rocks.
Safari: Brown grasses, high hills with old wooden bridges connecting grassy mountains. Small ponds may be hidden for water advantages.
Rocky: large piles of rocks towering over hard and bumpy terrain.
Woods: Tall trees, bushes, vines, vegetation, and small, open meadows that surround a clean, fresh water lake. Grass and Fire types have a special advantages.
Ruins: Large, open desert with the ruins of an ancient tribe. Quick sand spread around.
Open storm: Large field, simulated rain and lightning, thunder can sometimes blind the unsuspecting pokemon. Lighting strikes the field, pokemon, or trees that surround. Lighting powers up.
Concert: Outdoors stage. Large speakers that play random songs to confuse the pokemon. Lights malfunction at will. Lighted pokemon have a huge advantage. Faulty wiring shoots bolts at random targets. Extremely difficult for water types.
Any other requests for battle fields will be accepted as long as they have a description. Since this is a very incredible title, all battle fields will have their surprises. And, at the end of the competition, there will be a special surprise for the top 4. If you know what it is, or have a guess, PLEASE do not write it in the review box. If you want to tell it, just send me a pm. Until then, good bye from all of us here at the United Regions Cup, good luck, and may the Pikachu be with you.
