SkyGem: Well, I suddenly remembered a GMH that I read a little while ago, and felt driven to write this. Just a short drabble written from Tezuka's P.O.V., please bear with me, this is my first time writing one, so it may not be the best. I hope you like it!
Disclaimer: I don't own Prince of Tennis.
I stared at the tombstone in front of me, not really seeing it.
Everything just seemed so surreal.
I couldn't believe that he was really gone.
I couldn't believe that I would never see my Ryoma again.
I would never be able to hold him again, never kiss him again.
The pain was almost enough to tear me apart.
I couldn't help it, my mask was slipping.
Slowly, slowly, my emotions were beginning to show.
They were too much for me to handle.
Slowly, silently, a single tear made its way down my cheek, leaving a burning trail upon my skin.
Suddenly, I felt a gentle touch and turned to see Fuji standing there.
He looked a mess, with his eyes so red, but I was sure I looked worse.
Then, I caught sight of something floating down from the sky.
I turned to watch it.
It was a single white feather.
It came closer and closer until it landed on my cheek with a gentle caress, like a kiss.
We stared at it a moment.
Then, with a shaky smile, Fuji said, "It's Ryoma.
He wants to let us know he's got his wings."
SkyGem: Okay, so it probably really really sucks, but please do review, hm? I just could not get this out of my head, it kept bothering me until I just had to write it. I hope it wasn't too bad…
