I just felt the need to write this. I thought that "Prom Queen" was amazing, but there was one hole that I feel needed to be filled. I noticed that after Kurt stormed out of his living room, it seemed like Blaine was about to go after him. This is what I think would happen had he done that. Hopefully it seems canon.

Oh, great, Blaine thought as he watched Kurt storm out of the living room. This is not good. "I better go to talk to him," Burt said, starting to rise out of his chair.

"No," Blaine said and Burt froze. "I - I'll go." Burt nodded and Blaine walked out of the living room and up the stairs to Kurt's room. He found the door closed and - when he tried to open it - locked. Okay, this is really bad. "Kurt?" he said through the closed door. "Come on. Open the door."

"Go away, Blaine."

"Not until you let me in." He faintly heard Kurt get off of his bed and walk over to the door. He stepped back when he heard the lock turn. Crap, he thought when Kurt opened the door and it was obvious he'd been crying. Blaine tried to hug him, but Kurt shrugged off the touch. "Aw, come on. Don't be like that."

Kurt sniffled and wiped his eyes on the back of his hand. "Be like what, Blaine? I have every right to be pissed off at you."

"No. I thought you were supposed to be on my side. But down there, when you said you didn't want to go to prom with me..."

"Whoa, back up. When did I ever say I didn't want to go with you?"

"You didn't need to." Kurt turned and walked back into his room, Blaine following him like a shadow. "Blaine, please just... leave me alone."

Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and held tightly. Eventually, Kurt held back. "Look at me." Kurt slowly did so. "I'm sorry about what I said downstairs. I'm not saying I didn't mean it, but I'm still sorry. It's just..." He looked at their intertwined hands. "I'm scared."

"Because of what happened at your old school?" Blaine nodded. "Don't worry about that."

"Why not?"

"Because everything's different now. I don't mean everyone's suddenly accepting or whatever," he amended. "It's different... because we have each other." He put a hand on Blaine's face and stroked his cheek with his thumb. Blaine smiled - not only because he smiled every time Kurt touched him, but because he couldn't help but see the irony of the whole situation. As long as they'd known each other, Blaine had been the "wise" one - the one who seemed to have all the answers. It was nice to have those roles reversed for once. "You said that you were crazy about me. Is that still true?"

"Of course it is."

"Then why not show it to the whole world?" Blaine had to admit - that did sound pretty good. But, then again, he had a feeling he'd do anything Kurt asked him to.

"Sounds like a plan."

"Really?" Blaine nodded and Kurt squealed with joy, throwing his arms around Blaine's neck. Both boys leaned in, but right before their lips met, Kurt said, "But I'm still wearing this suit."

"Deal," Blaine said before closing the distance between them.

I know that was really short, but I thought it was really cute! Was it? Also, did it seem canon? Could you see that actually happening?
