I don't own Murder she wrote or its characters. But I do however own my characters and the story plot.
We walked into an office where an old lady was working at her computer.
She spoke up, "Hey there! I am grandma Mary and a storyteller to Murder She Wrote series. Did you ever got so many papers due on the same day…Well Jessica did…and this is her story…"
She yawned and stretched as She walked to the kitchen. She had a lot of work to do. But she always started her day with a nice cup of tea. AS she was sipping her tea, she glanced at her calendar. The red mark on Jan 31st meant a deadline is coming up.
Jessica groaned, "I need to get that story done."
At that moment, there was a knock at the door.
Jessica walked to the door and answered it.
She saw the sheriff and said, "Oh, hello Sheriff. Do come in and have tea with me."
The sheriff nodded and came in.
As he sipped his tea, he said, "Jessica, you are going to be busy today."
Jessica looked at him and said, "Oh, why is that? I have to get a story completed by the end of this month."
Sheriff handed her a stack of papers and said, "Well, there are more papers due on that day as well…well, thank you for the tea but I have to get back to the office. Have a good day!"
The sheriff left and Jessica was left with the work. She grabbed another cup of tea and went into her office. She sat down at her typewriter and finished the story 2 ½ hours later. The story was completely ready for the press. She paused to have lunch. For the next 6 hours, she worked on the stack of papers. She had dinner and returned to work. By the time she went to bed, everything was done. Jessica went to bed knowing her job was finished.
Grandma Mary concluded, "And that ends the story of "Deadlines". That's what happens when you put things off until the last minute. Well, this is storyteller Mary signing off until next time. See you in another story!"
She resumed her work on the stack of papers.
