So starts the return of the Jaydi.
Sorry for the bad joke "Star Wars" fans.
Sotlout and Tuffnut were both holding an Icelandic Cod.
"Ready," Fishlegs said with Ruffnut by his said "go!"
The viking boys started slapping each other with the fish.
"Why?" Ruff asked Fishlegs
"There's absolutely nothing to do." Fishlegs said watching the other two continue hitting one another with the fish as scales flew everywhere
Astrid arrived on the scene.
"What's going on?" Astrid asked
"Fish slapping." Fishlegs said
"How constructive." Astrid said dryly
"Where's Hiccup?" Ruff asked
"I don't know," Astrid said "he's been at home all day."
"Let's go." Ruff said
"What if he's busy?" Astrid asked
"He's always busy," Ruff said "be grateful, it means if you two get married he'll do all the work."
"That doesn't seem fair." Astrid said
They all looked at her.
"Oh yeah," Snotlout said "and your just the queen of fairness miss I-have-to-always-punch-you-before-you-get-a-kiss."
"Let's go." Astrid said
Then went to Hiccup's house and Snotlout threw the door open.
"Rude," Astrid said "busting in without knocking."
Hiccup looked over startled.
Then they heard fussing.
"Oh, look what you did," he groaned "you woke the baby."
He was in fact holding baby Jaydette.
"Shh," Hiccup shushed "it's okay."
"Be careful with that door it's still broken from last time...Astrid." he said
"Sorry." the blond viking girl said
She looked at the baby.
"Ah," Astrid whimpered "you're babysitting the demon baby."
"She's not a demon baby." Hiccup replied trying to calm Jaydette down
"She got up on my ceiling," Astrid said "I still down know how she did it."
"You really don't know how she did it?" Hiccup responded "I've been to your house, I know how she did it."
"How?" Astrid asked
"The footrest by the chair by those shelves on the wall by the bid hutch with the different levels," Hiccup explained "it's like a baby's stairway to mischief."
Astrid thought about.
"I told mom that was a bad place to put it." she muttered
There was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." Hiccup said
He gave the baby to Astrid.
"How's it going?" she asked the baby who looked at her inquisistively
"Oh great." Hiccup said
"What's going on?" Astrid asked
"A dragoness is having trouble laying her eggs," he sighed putting on a pair of gloves "now I have to go surgically remove them."
"I didn't you could do that." Astrid said
"I'll just take the baby to Gobber." Hiccup said
"We can watch her." Astrid said
Hiccup gave her a deadpan look, then started laughing.
Then the others started laughing.
"What?" Astrid responded
"You want me to leave her with you all," Hiccup inquired "after what happened last time?"
"Well we all watched individually last time," Astrid said "maybe we'd do better together, two heads are better than one."
"But five heads can lead to a disaster." Hiccup said
"Come on," Astrid said "trust me, she can't get on your ceiling."
"My house better be in one piece when I get back." Hiccup stated
"Oh it will," Astrid said "you just go do your little...surgery...and we'll take care of the baby."
"Alright," Hiccup said leaving "bye guys, Jaydette, and remember, the door gets stuck, because again it's still broken."
"I said I was sorry," Astrid said "gods."
Hiccup left, and instantly Jaydette started crying.
"Well we off to good start." Ruff said dryly
I couldn't resist writing a sequel to this, it's just too easy.
