After the cliché light disappeared I looked around at my surroundings… we were in a forest in the middle of freakin' nowhere. And it didn't help that I didn't know what the hell country we were in.
I looked over at Pixie, "Where the hell are we?"
She looked around, "Alagaesia."
"Holy Zeus!" I yelled, I'm a Christian and all, but, just for a bit of color in my vocabulary, I call upon Greek gods…
"What?" Pixie asked, the Inheritance Characters (Murtagh, Eragon, Nasuada, and Arya) looked at me confused.
"Shit we're in Alagaesia! OH MY LADY GAGA! This is so cool! We are screwed, Pixie!"
"Ok… Right now we need to focus on getting back home."
"But, we are home." Eragon said looking confused.
"No, I mean our home." Pixie told him after looking at his confused expression, "The one with the box that is 'a piece of winter during summer.'"
"I want my Brisingr back!" I cried, I missed my book.
"Always the over dramatic one" Pixie muttered. "Look Stella, you can't have it unless we are able to go back home."
"I know." I said dejectedly.
"You can come to the Varden with us, as long as you let Eragon survey your minds." Nasuada invited.
"What if he finds out my obsession?" I whispered to Pixie.
"Oh, about that anime guy."
"Yeah that one."
"I can't believe you're obsessed with him."
"Nasuada, ever the careful one, un?" I asked, throwing in some Japanese for good measure and ignoring Pixie (I feel so proud of myself!)
"Wow, tough crowd… heh heh…" I rubbed the back of my head. "Fine, you can go through my brain, but, it may shock you, and terrify you, and… you'll probably be very confused."
"Just let me in your mind already!" Eragon said losing his patience.
"Hey, what's Murtagh still doing here?" Pixie asked.
"I'm waiting for Thorn to pick me up." He answered.
"GAAAAAHHHH! OWWWWW! YOU'RE HURTING MY BRAIN!" I yelled, the probing of my mind hurting really bad. I saw my memories, good and bad, replaying.
"Sorry!" he apologized, after he was done I sank down to my knees. "You're…one weird girl."
I looked up at him, "Shut the fu-" before I could go on I heard a flapping.
Eragon! Saphira said landing near us. (Thankfully not on top of us.) Where have you been? I've been worried about you, and you were… with these random children! And Arya, Nasuada and, Murtagh!
"I'm sorry Saphira, we didn't have a choice." He defended himself.
"You're so SHINY!" I said staring at Saphira.
"Nice to meet you Saphira," Pixie said.
How did you know my name? The dragon asked
"Eragon… kinda… said it…" Pixie said.
"Soo Nasuada, when can I buy that lace?" I asked the rebel leader.
"We'll see when Eragon tells me if you are trust worthy or not, Arya, examine the other one!" Nasuada told the elf.
"Eragon, your dragon's mad at you!" Murtagh cackled.
"That's mean! He's half the man you'll ever be!" I said. "Wait… I said that wrong… damn it!"
"Why do you act like this?" he asked me.
"It's how I deal with weird situations!"
I heard more flapping sounds and saw that Thorn had come to pick up Murtagh.
"So…I hate to ask…but aren't you going to have to like…kill Eragon?" Pixie asked, turning to Murtagh.
"Quite honestly, none of my oaths apply, because I have no idea what the hell is going on," he replied.
"That's good. Neither do we!" said Stella happily.
"You know, I think it's time for everyone to head back to their respective places…where we all were before this happened," said Nasuada.
"Stella, where are we going?" I ask, as everyone's walking around to the various dragons and/or convenient horses.
