So I keep listening to this song and I wanted to base a fic on it so here it goes. I don't own the song or the characters.
Oh, but you were so shy and so was I
Maybe that's why it was so hard to believe
When you smiled and said to me...
Are you gonna kiss me or not
Are we gonna do this or what
I think you know I like you a lot
But you're 'bout to miss your shot
Are you gonna kiss me or not
I reached the buzzer quickly and pressed the button. "Who's disturbing my magnificent self?"
"It's Alec… From your party. You told me to call you but I… I ummm…" Man this kid was so cute. I've never met someone so shy.
"Come on up. The doors open."
I sauntered over to my couch because after all I love sauntering. As I plopped down I heard the door open and quiet footsteps against the ground.
"Take your shoes off please. I don't like dirt all over the place."
"Why do you have parties then?" A shy voice asked right before a pale face came into view.
"I enjoy the company of others. Is that so wrong?"
"No it's not." He stood awkwardly in the middle of the room with his blues eyes looking everywhere but at me.
"You can sit down you know. I don't bite…" He took a sit next to me and I couldn't help the smile on my face. "Much." He gulped and moved as far away from me as the sofa would allow. "So what did you come here for?"
"I was just wondering if maybe we could talk I guess."
"You guess? You aren't one for talking are you?"
"Not really. I enjoy silence."
"So what is it that you have to talk about? Obviously it's important if you came all the way here to talk about it."
"I was just wondering why you told me to call you."
"I thought you were cute of course! That's generally what people do when they see something they like." I looked him over and I notice he tried to shrink back into the plush cushions as if trying to hide from my wondering eyes."
"Why do you think I'm cute?" I couldn't resist raising a perfectly arched eyebrow at him. "I mean people don't generally take interest in me."
"Well then other people are idiots. I mean you're perfect. Black hair, blue eyes, just the right amount of muscle." I noticed him blush a light pink, could he get any cuter? "You're cute when you blush." Of course he blushed more than he was earlier and I loved it.
"No problem sweetie."
"Don't call me that." Alec looked horrified at the thought.
"How about love? Babe? Baby? Honey? Darling?"
"I don't like nicknames."
"I'm going to find something to call you other than Alec and Alexander." His blushed disappeared and a glare replaced the blush.
"Don't call me Alexander."
"Why? I like it. It's masculine and sexy. Alexander." I drew out his last name and practically whispered it. I was surprised when he didn't blush. He looked in my eyes tentatively. "Alexander."
"Yes." The blush crept up his neck and into his cheeks again.
I moved closer to him on the couch so that our knees were pressed together. "Was there anything else you came here for?" As an afterthought I added. "Alexander."
"I just wanted to see if this would turn into anything. I've never really… dated before."
"Is that so? I would say this is definitely turning into something and I've dated plenty enough for the both of us so don't worry about that."
Alec's breathe caught in his throat and it was then I noticed just how close we were. "Are you gonna kiss me or not?" He was looking me in the eye as he said this which caught me by surprise but I couldn't stop myself after he asked like that.
Our lips crashed together. His lips were perfect against mine. Soft yet strong just like the rest of his body. My hands travelled with a mind of their own over his body. I pulled away to look him in the eyes. His icy blue eyes stared at me intently as if begging for more. My eyes moved lower and saw his lips parted slightly and I couldn't stop myself as I brought our mouths together again.
I moved one hand down to his leg and pulled it up onto the couch while the other hand pushed against his chest so he was leaning against the arm of the couch. His hands tangled into my hair which thankfully I had left down today. I felt the leg I hadn't pulled up wrap around one of mine so that we were completely tangled together.
As the want grew for more I parted his lips and delved my tongue into his awaiting mouth. I was met by a low growl which I didn't think the boy capable of. The sheer thought of it led to me moaning into his mouth. Our tongues danced together perfectly. From the way this boy was kissing there was no way he had never gotten a date before.
My hands roamed his body hungrily. One gently rubbed one of his thighs going higher and higher each time until I was rubbing from his knee to the top his thigh. Meanwhile my other hand slipped under Alec's ratty sweater and began to roam freely over the sculpted muscle from being a Shadowhunter.
Suddenly I felt his hands slide from my hair and move over my body. At first it was only up and down my back then they began to move to my chest then back to my back. I let out a surprised gasp and I felt one of his hands come to rest on my ass. I felt Alexander smile against my lips because of my reaction. This boy was naughty than I had originally thought.
Finally I pulled away gasping for air. Alec was the same in the same position as he panted slighted. I smile at our position which earned me a blush.
"I'm glad I kissed you. It's nice to see another side of you."
"That was my first kiss." He blushed deeper at this.
I leaned in so that our foreheads were pressed together and our eyes locked on each other. "You've got no reason to be blush Alexander. You're an amazing kisser." I gently kissed his lips before putting my forehead against his. He sled his eyes close but I continued to watch him, he was so innocent and peace.
"I could get use to this. This feels right." He opened his eyes to look at me.
I smile as I copied the line he had used earlier. "Are you gonna kiss me or not?"
